Posted on July 2nd, 2008 by Bassett
Well, I’m officially back. My “vacation” was not so much of a rest as I had planned, but I’m glad to be back home, and writing again. I’ve missed you guys!
- Douche v. Douche was extended. Oy.
- Richard Sandomir weighs in on PSLs for the Jets.
- Jets Locker looks at the new Fullback situation.
- FO writes on the rise of the spread offense in the NFL.
- The rookies are in Carlsbad, CA for the Rookie Symposium.
- The Patriots released Willie Andrews, a 2006 draft pick.
Many thanks to the fill-ins who have helped while I was out. Only 23 days til camp!!

any idea of the public can get into the symposium? Carsbad is 10 minutes from my office
Fair or not fair to the current team but they better have a good season! Given last years record, Giants winning the SB and the announcement of likely PSL’s for the new stadium- the fans will not be giving any slack. If they have another rough season it will probably get real ugly for the team, management and ownership with many true fans feeling that they have only a couple of more seasons to attend games live!!! The pressure is mounting!
