You're right, Bassett. I know Pound Ridge and Katonah, but I'm not familiar with South Salem.

My friend was a cop for many years in Goldens Bridge.

Shea may have "sucked" (it still does) but it was OURS!!! Sharing with a team in another sport is nothing like being second class citizens in the Giants building, whether its better or not (it is for football).

Whatever, from now until the end of my time on this planet seeing the Jets in person will require a nauseatingly ridiculous travel day (and apparently a second mortgage), so be it, I'm resigned to the fate, maybe they will even reward me with a superbowl victory some time before its over.

My only comment is that Shea Stadium sucked (noisy, dirty, too few men's room, etc., etc.) and I was very happy the JETS moved to the Meadowlands.

I was there myself and it wasn't what it was cracked up to be. Where was klecko? No Maynard either? I was expecting more. Come on, they couldn;'t have taken that old white jet out of retirement and rode it once around the field. DOn't knwo what it was like in the picnic area, btu for a guy in the regualr seats, I thought the Mets could have done a better job showing their appreciation
