Pittsburg wins with Rothesburger- 6'5"
New England wins with Brady- 6'5"
The Colts win with Peyton Manning- 6'6"
The Giants win with Eli- 6'5"

These are the last four teams to win the Super Bowl?

The "one thing all the champions had was a 6'5"+ Quarterback" They all can see, have a quick release, a strong arm and are excellent decision makers.

Ainge beat Georgia Bull-Dawgs three times, Twice between the Hedges. That doesn't happen, SEC fans know that.
He beat 'South Carolina' three times with Holtz as coach and Spurrier too.
He beat Woodson's 'Kentucky 'team three times.
He was 2-1 against 'Alabama', 1-0 against 'Arkansas', he beat Cutcliffs 'Old Miss'. team in '04(1-0). He beat 'Florida' by putting up 17 points in the last 8:30 in '04(1-2). was 2-0 -v- 'Vanderbilt,' beat 'Mississipi State' (1-0), beat Wisconcin,(1-0) Split with 'California'(1-1), He's a WINNER!

He broke Peyton Mannings 'season completions record 'with 325 completions IN '07 with 31 touchdowns, 10 picks, only sacked 3 times in 14 games and still threw for 64%.(amazing)
He broke Peytons 'record for completions %' in a season. 67% in 2006!

The young man is a winner, has a gun, quick feet, and he's clutch, (many U.T. comebacks late) Ainge can see and make quick decisions at 6'5 1/2", that is crucial...look at the champions the last 8 years or so, a TALL, athletic Q.B.!!

Thanks for confirming that. We did used to have a guy in here that would post under different screen names and make comments agreeing with himself. Once he even had an argument with himself! Fun times.

I am glad they signed him for four years. I think he will be a player. Now sign Gholston and Keller, give Baker a few more dollars, and let's go out and shut up the critics.

You can't teach tall. When Pennington stood next to Vinny, he looked like a midget. He's actually 6'3" but Clemens is even shorter. His visibility will be limited especially on the right side of the line - Brick is 6'6" and Faneca is 6'5". I often wondered if Clemens held onto the ball too long because he couldn't see the field. He can overcome this liability with good footwork and thorough preparation, i.e., when he drops back it better be into a passing lane. But at the end of the day, I'm more comfortable with a tall quarterback. That means 6'5" or better.

Hey, i hope this guy works out okay for us, but to be honest, until then, I'm gonna be watching Carl Nicks and comparing the two. I can't help it! I just can't let it go! Typical Jets fan...you know..."sigh, what might've been..."

bitter?...I'm not bitter?...who said I was bitter? :-)
