Although I’m back in Massachusetts, here’s what’s being talked about on actual football that took place on the field yesterday. Accompanying this are pictures taken by commenter billvv, so thanks very much for sending them in!!!
Billvv reminds us, if you want to take notes, or pictures or whatever at camp and send them in, we’d love to hear from you! Fore every “report ” you file (and no, one line on Eric Barton dancing doesn’t count), we’ll enter you into a raffle for a $50 gift card at Best Buy. Billvv will be our first entrant, so thanks again!
QB Improvement — Maybe it was the Favre rumors, but more likely it was knocking off the rust, but apparently the QBs were crisper yesterday than in day one. KC worked on red zone drills, and threw a TD to Keller slant across middle in 11-on-11s, and then connected with the rookie TE twice more on the day for TDs. Pennington played well too, connecting with Cotch and Chans on some nice catches.
Can Clowney Make It? — Likely camp fodder, David Clowney has been impressive in catching drills, but can he do enough on special teams to beat out Wallace Wright or David Ball? Stay tuned.
Musa & Jesse Practice — The two RBs were in practice but didn’t receive many carries, as Danny Woodhead continued taking a number of reps. Look to see if this changes on Saturday.

Just got back from practice, quick few things I noticed;
Jenkins is a beast, and will probably require a double team most if not all of the time. Gholston and Pace are pretty damn big and fast for LB. I know he may not make the team, but the kid Ratliff has some arm and deserves to at least stick around on the practice squad like last year. Also noticed Henry and Clowney out there more so than other guys vying for that 5th WR slot. Bender was throwing up his guts for a good 5 minutes early on in the session, looked like to much gatorade. -
ok i think bryan is gonna get the job at 1st but within the 6th wekk gholston might just start

Vernon Gholston can turn out to be something special as a football player, but as a person he is already special. From caring for his sick father to ” I was never motivated by money”. I like this guy already
