I just ran across this on the Rotoworld.com and wanted to bring it to everyone's attention. I am not sure if anything comes of this or not, but potentially huge news.

The Packers are in "serious talks" about a trade that would send Brett Favre to the Jets, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

This would be the Packers' ideal landing spot for Favre. Favre's agent, Bus Cook, has conversed with the Jets, indicating his client does have interest in playing for them. An impending trade could be the reason commissioner Roger Goodell has refused to reinstate Favre to this point. Allowing Favre to practice could've crippled the Packers' team chemistry. Stay tuned.

According to Newsday poll 53% of 3000 votes go to Farve with 36% for CP and 17% fo KC. I'm more supportive of CP now because it shows they're more against CP than in favor of Farve. This is true because when this competition started most favored KC, but now that CP is establishing himself as our QB those KC supporters are Jumping away from Kc and onto Farves wagon. We must get our house in order because the only thing this does is create factions within the team.

The lack of execution from 2007 shows what we are capable are if we are not motivated and didnt show with the 2006 roster with a couple of free agents in 2007. In 2006 the roster wasnt as improved as in 2007 but Mangini and the rest of the coaching staff exercised execution on all phases which help bring us to the playoffs. We must do the same and I will be watching how well we execute with a much improved 2008 squad. If we repeat the same execution as last year with better players then we need a new coaching staff right off the bat not necessarily Mangini though but the rest have to go.

I love what Cotchery said that "we dont win games on paper". I feel this season will be special for that reason. Beware of the eternal underdogs the Jets, as we will prove ourselves this year. In o6 I said we were going 10-6, and I feel that we might repeat or even have a better record. Just 1 more week until some preseason action, WOOT!!

Like JCo said " you never win games on paper. " I truly feel the team MUST play with more emotion than they displayed on the field last year. Either on their own or through Mangini, either way they must play " smash mouth football" or they will disappoint again and they can't let that happen !!

If Mangini can install this kind of work ethic, cooperation and caring among the players, then he will have a real team and real teams always turn out to be winners.
