Someone (columnist) finally has the brass to call this gut what he really is, when most if not all are kissing his butt. Fans must realize that sports are like any other business: they are made up of people. Jet fans that were begging for him to QB the Jets must take a hard look at themselves when they root for Chad or Kellen or any of our QBs this year. This guy Farve IS a self-serving headcase and I pray that Rodgers or anyone forces him to the bench and watch him cry, squirm AND RETiRE FOR THE FIFTH TIME shafting Green bay AGAIN !! The whole city and FARVE deserve each other.

I didnt beg for Favre to come to NY but I would have welcomed it. So why do I have to take a hard look at myself when I root for Chad, Kellen or whom ever the QB might be. I’m a Jet fan and I will be rooting for them to win no matter what.

I had no idea that Farve was such a self absorbed jack ass.
Chad offered to give up part of his salary to get LC back, Brett offered to stab a very good team mate in the back.
This is a real eye opener for me, and forces me to reverse my position on our need to go out and get him.
Regardless of any previous Jet team won lost records….our team played as a team, and supported one another always. We never had a back stabbing hypocrite…a me first team second sort of guy.
I am glad we did not get him. I would rather wait a year or two for us to be a top team then to take the BF shortcut and compromise our teams special character and closeness.

Welcome to the brightside Jetchick, it’s a pleasure to have you with us and you are absolutely dead on about this guy and there’s one more thing, if we go deep into the playoffs as we should (without him), if he comes he would get all the credit and not our true soldiers CP/KC and all.
It is a shame that sports is now news, it used to be fun, now it is all business.
