I’m glad the Jets may have ONE good season with Favre, but if the team who knows him and worship(ped) him for many years doesn’t want him, why do we? We are the kings of getting has been’s like Boomer and Testaverde. They were great guys and brought the team some good times for sure, but they were not the foundation of any type of dynasty. What we need is a young QB to build a team on. Personally I think this is all going on at such interesting timing - on the heels of the Jets announcing their intent to gouge the fans with PSL’s in the new stadium. Yeah, I think that definitely has something to do with it. They want us to feel this move will justify the team raking its loyal fans over the coals with exorbitant seat licenses. Well it doesn’t. It’s just about pure greed and choosing to favor the super rich and leave the rest of us in the dust. I’m a Jets fan/season ticket holder.
