Wow…when I saw him in the NY hat, that’s when it really sunk in. He’s really here. Its crazy. I got giddy everytime he said the word “Jets”. Its wild

Thank you for treating our hero with respect! After this hellish BS, it’s so great to see someone treat Brett Favre with a little respect! He’s earned it. Jeez, I never dreamed I would be so disgusted with the Packers or just despise them, without prolonged torture and brain washing, but I just can’t stomach how they’ve treated him. It’s beyond sickening.

I’m proud to root for the Jets, PROUD TO. Just the way y’all have embraced our hero has sold me on rooting for the Jets. I don’t care how it’s been portrayed – this is a guy who is the poster child for what an NFL player should be. He exemplifies sportsmanship, decency, and honor.

It has just rocked my world to see those IDIOT 3 stooges running the Packers try to destroy this man who gave them everything he had for 16 solid years, EVERY GAME, no matter what – he put that team first.

I hope and pray he can help y’all win, and that he can enjoy the game he loves like no one I’ve ever seen.

THANK YOU ALL for your kindness, compassion, and the respect you’ve honored him, and all of us, with. When I saw Favre this morning in those pictures at the airport smiling in a Jets hat, smiling for the first time in too long, I knew then that I could feel really good about this trade and put my heart into rooting for this fine team.

When I heard your GM went down to Mississippi to escort Brett into the embrace of the Jets, I actually cried with joy. No bags of dirty money to try and make him go away, just respect.

I look forward to being a Jets fan for a long time. I never would have dreamed, as a second generation Packer fan, that I would turn my back on that team, but I do it with utter resolve. GO JETS!

  9. avatar Eirias says:

Alright, assuming that Favre doesn’t go through this retirement crap next offseason, how long do we have him under contract?

  10. avatar nyckage says:

i belive it3 more yrs so its good

  11. avatar Eirias says:

Or, from a glass completely-full perspective, how many Super Bowls are we going to play in?

  12. avatar Rollercoaster says:

The picture with Favre winking is my favorite. Clowney and Lowery, along with Ratlift, have been doing great. Carrol, the run game (did Leon even play?) and the defensive line still have huge questions.

  13. avatar Rollercoaster says:

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

    JETS WIN!!!!!

  14. avatar nyckage says:

Comments for this post will be closed on my birthday I will be 29. A Packer fan my whole life, but as Brett said , we all became Brett fans, and we still are, I can see ticket prices rising for Jets fans. He will retire the best quarterback that ever lived and brought back the feeling of teamwork and comradery that the team needed at a time when we were suffering. Who can forget the Brett and Regie White years and the teamwork those two produced. I am just greatful I can still watch him play. Thank you New York Jets!

  17. avatar vbsiena24 says:

Ticket prices are always rising for Jets fans. Brett has nothing to do with that. New York/New Jersey in general has the most expensive ticket prices in all sports.

  18. avatar nyckage says:

ur right but now they have a reason

All of you need to stop getting brainwashed into the whole Favre is King in the media. I understand he is the “iron man” but you can’t beat father time.
Its not that I don’t like Favre, I think this an upgrade but let’s not go into this thinking we are gonna own the east because of his liability
