Chad was a great Jet QB. How soon we forget.

Favre, on the other hand, could be phenomenal this year. I was hoping that the first play would be a laser beam to Cotchery and, wouldn't you know, he fired it in there, right out of the gate. The TD to Keller was too easy for him. Tell me you didn't love it, when Faneca nailed Jason Taylor into the ground. The coaches are going to have some very tough cuts, when it comes to WR's, RB's, & TE's. It is that depth that makes me feel that, if Favre stays healthy, our offense is going to be outstanding. Favre can make a strong statement, about why he came out of retirement, with this Offensive team. As far as his being unfamiliar with New York, as soon as he tears up the Patriot secondary, in game two, he will own New York.

Well...I changed the lyrics so maybe that will break the mental chain.

Maybe another hit of hers to be sung by some adoring fans to Favre:

"Nobody does it better. Makes me feel sad for the rest."

We'll see. It looks like I was wrong about his commitment which I thought was most of the problem with him coming here.

To him I say:
"You're so vain; I bet you think this blog is about you."

The local free paper, AM New York, has a weekly write-in contest. A picture is provided and readers are encouraged to provide the verbal caption with the photograph. This week's contest was a picture of Favre speaking to Clemens. The winning caption:

"Does the playbook have pass plays for more than 30 yards now that Chad is gone?"
