Peter King Knows He’s Right About Jets Fans, But is Even Righter About His Love of Popcorn
Posted on August 21st, 2008 by Bassett
After the whole hullabaloo this week with PK and Jets fans, we thought it would be nice to see a softer, gentler, popcorn-smashing-into-his-huge-gob side of Peter. Enjoy.
How do you spell that sound Homer Simpson makes when he smashes food into his face? This is a time that I, for one, would like to know …

That is so funny I just saw that HBO thing this morning and immediately I thought to myself this fat fu*k is so out of touch with any and everything and this just proves it.
I guess HBO thinks he still credible because he hobnobs with the owners and coaches but as a journalist he is about as appealing as a mouthful of pre-chewed popcorn.
I could never understand why people thought he was so intelligent on all issues football.
Its a little bit like Mel Kiper. Although I DEFINITELY appreciate Mel’s draft coverage, he is probably about as accurate at predicting the success of college players going to the NFL as a well-informed JETS blog commenter is. The exception is that he is super-prepared for all teams and all position players coming out of college. It is otherwise a crap-shoot and he knows it.
On the other hand, King has a superiority complex and doesn’t even offer what Kiper does: analysis that you can’t come up with yourself; and not b/c we are incapable, but moreso because it takes forever to get as informed as a guy like Kiper is.
In King’s case, he is essentially blogging his opinions and they’re often moronic, but more than anything else, they aren’t unique and anyone here could do something very similar. Its like abstract art (my 5 year old could have done that!)!
King has a twitch or something, huh? Look at his hand as he eats the popcorn. We must be making him nervous.
