   CHATMAN(second string) behind our second string o-line STILL almost ran for a HUNDRED but i think the most IMPRESSIVE stat was the 6rec 87yds 14.5avg with the longest being 39yds. im NOT worried about our STARTING O-LINE one bit. we just CANNOT and i repeat CANNOT LOSE to CHAD PENNINGTON and the fish in the FIRST week. that game is HUGE as it can/will DICTATE our whole season.

   im not worried our O line is better than last year we might not get the results we expect form TJ but what we can expect atleast is that he will get better even if it means he gets 1 TD extra or 10 more rushing yds either way he wiill do better than last year

   The first game of the year never dictates a season. Do you remenber how the Giants started last year. And don’t bring up that Pennington crap. A win is a win and a loss is a loss.

   This guy Adam Whatshisname (Schtick) is funny. He says TJ will get, and quote him on this, ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED YARDS whith an OL thats ten times better and Brett Farve. If you look back that would be bout 180 yards more than last year with a terrible line and Pennington with his noodle arm that aloowed the D to stack 8-9 in the box. Boy is he a Joke !!

   KJGRACEY,”funny as HELL!!??”you are not a JETS fan.TECHNICALLY(mathematically) it doesnt DICTATE our season,but after going out and adding ALL the PIECES to FIX our team and then lose to a 1 and 15 team with the QUATERBACK we RELEASED compared to the QUATERBACK we believe was BETTER,with the next TWO games vs the PATS and on the ROAD on MONDAY night to the CHARGERS and you dont think that will DICTATE OUR SEASON!!!     OUR RUNNING GAME IS GOING TO BE OUR BIGGEST ASSET. WE WILL AVERAGE 4 YARDS A CARRY VS. MIAMI AND CONTROL THE LINE OF SCRIMAGE. WE WILL RUN FOR 150 YDS.     Can’t e true they cut Chatman. He brought instant energy to the game. Something we desperately lacked last year !!!!

    Maybe they’ll go out and get another RB, but remember that last year they didn’t have a third RB either. (Banks and Ware were on the PS).

    Last year – Jones, Leon, Barnes, Kowalewski
    This year – Jones, Leon, Richardson, Pociask

    Maybe they had to do this so they could “sneak” Clowney or Ainge onto IR without having to waive them (then they can add RB depth later). Pure speculation though.

    If you trully believe a loss is just that, ” a loss”, I strongly suggest you take a closer look at the 1st. Pats game second half performance when we got blown out in what started out a close fought, tough game. I really believe our team started to tank after that. And also….. I couldn’t believe Mangini SHOWED NO WILL to try and stop the skid.

    You’re probably right, but he was one of the few that showed determination, desire energy in his play on the field plus he ran pretty well ( yds. per carry ithink was over 4 last year with Miami).     to be totally honest..how OLD is thomas jones?? i KNOW its just preseason,but CHATMAN looked GOOD! he is a BIG,BRUISING back with AGILITY. I was SHOCKED that they just RELEASED him.now hearing they want to TRADE him makes a LITTLE more sense…at LEAST we’ll GET something in RETURN.
