Barret is solid but unspectacular. he does make plays. I think he has the most INT's over the last 3 years for any JET. The deal with him is he is not a #1 corner and that's what we paid him to be after Antoine Winfield bolted. He's OK and certainly solid 3rd or 4th CB. In this league you need 3 starting caliber corners anyway. THIS SEASON we are deep on the corner and should have a pass rush so our pass D is going to be outstanding. IF we can stop the RUN ( hear me Mr. jenkins) we will have a top 5 defense and with Farve that means at least 11 wins.

As fro cutting Clemens, i'd hold on to him another year so that he can learn form Farve. the guy has had some bad breaks. Lets not forget last years baltimore game, or Cotch dropping that pass against WASH that would have won the game for us.

finally Ainge? i dunno? I would have rather drafted NIX from NEbraska to bolster the line. But the reality is QB's are hard to come by in the league and they saw something plus he comes from TENN in a pro style with the same coaching that Payton and Eli had. You can't really evaluate him until a year or 2 down the road. Look at Ratty.

We should get Anderson as a Back up LT from Cinn.

I don't know is Clemens is worth anything... The Vikings already have a physicaly gifted young QB who can't seem to put it together on the field. The only reason to cut Barrett would be if the new guy they bring in wants a large salary and we need to stay under the cap. Barrett isn't great, but having an experienced starter as your 4th corner/ back-up saftey is a nice luxury.

It's got to be one of the bubble players, like Barrett, Murrell, Spencer, Brown or Cummings.

The JETS, in my opinion, kept 4 QBs to trade one. I think the KC to Vikes makes most sense if draft pick or picks are high enough. Otherwise keeping Ainge on 53 is a risky decision.

Hopefully, it's Ainge. It's a waste to keep a 4th QB and with the QB situation as it is now, it turns out that he was a wasted draft pick.
