I know his stats weren't great but he didn't "fail" in the NFL and I'd rather have him currently than David Carr during his first few seasons. It's not an exact science but one thing for sure is that another team may want or need a proven QB at some time and you don't just get rid of that. Klecko, the Pats just cut their 2nd round pick from 2006, WR Chad Jackson. Even the best teams get draft picks wrong. The difference is, when they do get it wrong, they admit it and cut their losses.
