- WR Larry Brackins
- RB Jehuu Caulcrick
- OL Stanley Daniels
- DB James Ihedigbo
- OL Matt McChesney
- DE Ropati Pitoitua
- WR Paul Raymond
- LB Brandon Renkart
Glad to see Caulcrick staying around, as well as Raymond who had some nice flashes in the preseason. I don’t doubt Nate Garner may have been headed to the squad also if he hadn’t been snapped up by the Dolphins. Converted defensive lineman McChesney spent time on the practice squad last year and returns for another season.

i like the list…im glad these 4 made it…
RB Jehuu Caulcrick, DB James Ihedigbo,OL Matt McChesney and WR Paul Raymond
I just LOVE how people/sports writers HATE on the JETS……from Ian O’connor:” FAVRE in for RUDE AWAKENING”….I hope at the end of the season,I feel like I made the right decision,”FAVRE said,”and that JETS fans and people through out the NFL would feel I made the right decision”. Common sense suggests that this ISNT going to work out, that FAVRE will end up REGRETTING the day he DRAGGED his MANGLED 38-year -old body out of retirement and into the JETS’ huddle,a place where GOOD INTENTIONS go to DIE….he goes on to say how he(BRETT) NEVER wanted to play for the JETS but would have rather played for the VIKES,BUCS,or EVEN the BEARS.And how he even considered taking the packers offer to stay retired MORE SERIOUSLY than playing for the JETS.”he FINALLY agreed to “ROLL THE DICE” with the JETS,if ONLY because the JETS were the only recruiters out there as DESPERATE as FAVRE.The fact that New Yorks JAYVEE team closed this deal was a bigger upset than Joe Willie Namath’s guaranteed victory over the Baltimore Colts.
can you say pro bowl Farve
the only guys i cared about is paul raymod and Jehuu Caulcrick , and im glad nobody claimed anyone of these guys
I hope nobody signs Caulcrick off the practice squad. He eventually can be a bowling ball, especially when the weather turns. Northeast football with a bruising BR. Would be nice to see our guys play that way.
RB, not BR***
nycage, onPace has it right. Any of these guys can be signed off our practice squad at any time and there is nothing we can do about it. Just like if Bender gets put on the Pats PS, we can wait until our second game with them and pick him up.

I thought Bryan Mattison out performed both DE Ropati Pitoitua and LB Brandon Renkart. Don’t understand why they didn’t try to keep him.

I agree
Yes, they can be picked up off the practice squad, but only if they are added to the active roster. While a player is clearing waivers they can be added to another team’s practice squad. So while them clearing waivers is not a guarantee of keeping them, it is still a positive thing.
If anyone should go onto IR after the season starts, a roster spot will become available and I’d quite like to see Caulcrick get this. (That’s blatantly what the Pats are hoping to do with Lynch).
yes westoff is back
WESTHOFF IS BACK!!!!…along with FIREMAN ED!!! J-E-T-S JETS! JETS!! JETS!!! (ok..i had ONE too many drinks..it IS labor day for CHRIST’S sake!!)
all bull**** aside..I just cant wait for the season to start…we ARE going to the playoffs AT LEAST… and from THERE who knows….anything is possible!
Damn! I was hoping to see Rudy Burgess on the list. I’m surprised with his versatility….WR/RB/KR/DB and ST coverage.
Go Sun Devils!
Did Kenwin Cummings make the team?
Yes, although there are still moves in the pipeline so theoretically he could still be cut prior to opening day. Hopefully not though, he showed some good potential in preseason.
