Housekeeping: Ready for Week One

by Bassett on September 2nd, 2008 at 7:43 am

Thanks to everyone who helped out with the blog in my absence while I took a breather before the plunge that is the start of the season for a few days.  From reading back through, those who posted did a great job entertaining, so thanks for keeping everyone up to date, especially Bent who did a fantastic job with the frenzy of roster cuts, suspension news, etc.

Just a few notes of things to come this week:

1) Roster breakdown — I’m just getting a feel for the team this morning (I’ve not looked at anything since Thursday) but I’ll be sharing some thoughts about how the roster spots were set up.

2) Friday chat — A tradition we started last season, and will try to continue this season.  We might throw in a few Monday ones as well.

3) Weekly Previews — We’ve got a bunch of content to get you ready for weekly matchups which we’ll put on display later this week and through the season

Plus much more! PEI was great, but it’s good to be back!

We can’t take Pennington and the Dolphins lightly. However, I see Keller and Washington having great days. If they do it will be a convincing win.

I’m with Drose. Perfectly reasonable score. Finally all of these months of speculation and anticipation can turn into disapointment…err… I mean victory. Go Jets.

Pennington may not play the whole game — The Dolphins O line may take a play off to get him out of the game, especially if he lays out Ginn early –

If we don’t get a pick 6 I’m very disapointed. Chad made Assante Samuel a very rich man.

I agree we can never take any opponent lightly. With that said, our OL and DL should dominate this game. That’s what I’ll be looking for.
