In the past, most older QB’s who have changed teams and are about to retire, have not lasted very long or had very much success. Therefore, it is not a bold call for O’Connor. I think that Favre might do very well, as our Offense is talented and our Defense can be very good. I say Favre wins the SB in his first year and, if he doesn’t, he sticks around for a year or two, and eventually does so.

You are the greatest for posting this and I agree “mangled” is excessive. However following Farves’ hype as close I could from his last “retirement” speech ’till today, I did not read ANY falsehoods or lies written about Farve. The article appears to be accurate and honest. I trully believe the main reason Johnson threw pennington under the bus was a public relations move to sell his PSLs. I know that Farve is capable of giving us 1-2 more wins but I think team integrity and chemistry is more important. I trully believe we ( the team) lost that and the Dolphins gained it. I trully hope Farve can deliver on his expectations or we have lost much more than a couple of games.

man i should smack this guy side ways he is probably upset favre is older than him and can still throw farther than him and is making 12 million a year just to do so , this guy knows nothing about football and he is probably like any other new yorker a giant fan which pisses me off , if the jets win the superbowl i predict this guy to be the first to jump on the bandwagon , but he doesnt know how good cotchery is and obviously didnt vote for kerry to go to a probowl , but when the jets prove this fool wrong i would like to read the next article he writes about the jets
