I think FoxSports hasn't been paying attention. They say can one man make a difference. Umm i think we got many other player like Calvin Pace, Alan Faneca, Kris Jenkins and so on. I have no problems with the other rankings.

Nickolas
Every time the Jets let someone go Mangini has such glowing comments.

And your statement that if the Jets don't go to the Super Bowl then the Farve pick up was a bust - boy you went out on the limb on that one. Considering only 2 out of 32 make it to the Super Bowl.

When Farve made his first completion on his first attempt I was glad he was a Jet. Regardless of what happens next.

By the way Farve made his first completion on his first attempt as a Packer.

The fears about team chemistry are unfounded. The Jets players are behind Farve 100%. As far as the offensive game plan - give me a break. Farve knows more about reading the opposing teams defense than our coaches. Farve in the HALL OF FAME as a JET. That is what I see.

HEY KNUCKLE HEADS

Chad"s injury last year was his ankle. The noodle arm was not the problem last year.

But the Jets D are gonna eat him up on Sunday. His fake moves won't work on us. What we need to do is stop Ricky Williams.

I'm anything but a hater.
To blame last years season on the Pete Kendall situation is a joke.
The key to a successful season is the left guard. I have never heard this arguement before.

Our O line sucked. Chad got injuried. KC sucked. That is why we sucked.

I can speak for the "20%" or "5%" of Jets fans who wanted Chad off the team. Does that mean I'm not appreciative of what he did for the Jets? I will always be fond of the Chad era as the years go by but that doesn't mean the Jets shouldn't have moved on. The fact that he always came back amazed me, but clearly the injuries altered his career! Do you want to just reward players for being tough or for performing? It's a fine line but I haven't seen the same smart QB that he once was. I feel like now that hes gone everyone has forgetting the terrible 4th quarters picks hes thrown the last couple of years.

Its time to move forward!

Nikolas;
I totally agree with your comments on team chemistry. I'm convinced that champions ARE made in the clubhouse( I personally witnessed it w/Gil Hodges in '69) that the team lost part of it when the Jets threw Pennington under the BF Bus. From reading the enemy's blog a can asure you that the Dolphins players are totally united, for the first time in many years, behind Pennington. How that will translate during the season I'll let Styne tell you all about that.

The way some people make it sound, Pete Kendall was solely responsible for Pennington dropping from 10 to 1 wins. If that's the case, the Dolphins better get a trade with the Redskins going quick.

If losing 12 games last year was the price for swapping PK for Alan Faneca then I now realize I enjoyed last season a lot more than I thought I did.

hey hate all you want i was happy whenever the jets made it to the playoffs ..yes it wasn't the superbowl but they made it to the post season they couldn't be pointed at by stupid analyst and said they suck ..because obviously they were winners ..i start every season saying they're gonna kick ass this year .. and if they start to have problems i don't whine "oh no we suck again" i figure out where they suck and why .. last year the line was what killed the gets on O and D .. the year before was a playoff year ..year before that chad got hurt and we were stuck with a combo of brooks vinnie and jay ..who all blew goats .. thats what i meant by staying positive ..i don't whine when i figure out who the problem is thats who i bash and with zeal ..like i said last years problem was the line ..but was it ..no it was management mishandling the kendall nightmare ..and all though kendall was a lil bit of a pain in the ass if they nipped it in the bud earlier there would have never been a chemistry issue which made them suck .. so don't knock on my positive atittude ,,instead knock off the whining and the classless lack of appreciation of a gave that gave his all and start every season as a fan instead of a cynic

Your theory of staying positive and positive things will happen worked half the time. Boy I wonder what would happen if you did nothing.
