Here’s a few things to think about from what we saw Week 1 versus last year’s team …
First Four Total Sacks for Entire Season — Not until Week Six against the PHI
First 100 Yard Rush Game for Thomas Jones – Week Three against the MIA
First 51+ Yard Completion — Week Seven against the CIN
First Rushing Touchdown — Chad Pennington Week Three versus MIA
First Interception — Kerry Rhodes Week Three versus MIA

player update: Vernon Gholston game stats- ZERO TACKLES….and actually MISSED a sack that he SHOULD have made. NOT hating on him….just saying!

P.S. mike nugent SCARES me! how do you get a “bruised thigh’ when NOONE touched him!? if he would have hit that EXTRA POINT,the fish could have only TIED us on that last “hold my breath the whole time” drive! technically they could have went for TWO and the WIN,but they wouldnt have!

Nugent’s injury is an excuse to finally clean up one of the last of Bradway’s horrible gaffes. Huggies is the gift that never stops giving (Tzurris).
I never saw such a thing. An injury on a dry field with no rush. Unable to kick in one half but not another.
Get rid of this waste of space.

It was only 31 to 29 in favor of the jets. If we make a couple of more catches and less penalties it wouldve been more like 35-25. Much more rest for the defense. We could’ve used that energy at the end of the game when Chad was driving.

we DEFINITELY looked like a new/improved team. even tho we won the game by the skin of our teeth(altho i felt we DOMINATED the whole game except for the last 4 minutes of the 4th quater) its NOW ime to prepare for New England THIS week! with or without BRADY,this WILL NOT be an “easy” win by any means! we have ALOT to build on with ALOT of talent and we SHOULD/WILL get BETTER as the weeks go on! very EXCITING!! J-E-T-S JETS! JETS!! JETS!!!
