Most important is that New England knows how to win and they hate to lose. The Jets are still learning how to win and, although nobody likes losing, they still don’t know who will show up on Sunday. By playing games like this one, they will be tougher to beat, at the end of the season. I hope Mangini tells the Jets that, the Patriots will be looking to knock them out. If they think Brady not being there will make a big difference — they will be in for a shock.

As the saying goes “any given Sunday”. No team can take another for granted, if they do, they lose. I’m sure SD didn’t take Carolina seriously and look what happened.

This could be the trap game that everyone was predicting would happen against the fish.

They (the Pats) can still play defense, they can still run the ball, and they still have Moss and Welker. I am sure that Belichek will alter the plan to suit Cassels strenghts. They will have a “circle the wagons” mentality, and will be dangerous. We better be ready.

let me tell you something…the patriots are A SOLID TEAM!! from TOP to BOTTOM,and whether you like him OR not,BELICHEAT is one of ,if not the BEST coach in football. losing BRADY IS HUGE! NOONE is DENYING that! and in all reality, MOST teams might FOLD! but NOT THIS ONE! they are gonna come out and LEAVE IT ALL ON THE FIELD! if ANYONE thinks this is a “lock” win for us knows absolutely NOTHING about football. by them favoring the J-E-T-S ,all it is, is their feeble attempt to JUMP on the BAND WAGON! if your a TRUE J-E-T-S fan,then you KNOW nothing comes EASY! P.S….the BUFFALO BILLS are for REAL!

I thought the Jets had a shot in this one with Brady playing and now that he will clearly not be playing in week 2 I like the Jets chances that much more. As a Jets fan though I know this is usually the kiss of death. It will be a close game regardless and maybe just maybe we will pull it out.

This game will be tougher than the Miami game. NE is a group of veterans who know how to win. If anyone on the Jets thinks this will be easy, Sunday will come as a shock. The only way the Jets are winning is if they rise to the occasion. Offense, Defense, and Special Teams will all have to play better. That being said, I think it will be the easiest game of the next three. Go Jets.
