Coles is starting to piss me off
On ESPN it said Coles and Ellis are “expected to play” doesn’t that mean probable? And I would really like to know if Miller is playing or not.
Speaking of Friday practice, I posted an interview with Darrelle Revis post-practice if anyone’s interested in checking it out:

Tom Brady has a real dilemma on Sunday. If the Patsies lose, everyone will say it was because the great Tom Brady wasn’t at QB. But if the Patsies somehow win, everyone will be saying it was the system that made Tom Brady great and he isn’t as great a QB as everyone has made him out to be.
Who do you think Tom Brady will be rooting for on Sunday???.
Hopefully, the Jets will be 2-0; Coles will find his touch for over 100-yards receiving and a score, plus we will learn more about Miller’s Time at CB?
And, Nuge will be one week closer to kicking!
The Ed(itor): Moreover, if Cassel doesn’t do well, although this will be good for Brady’s reputation, it will put a dent in Belichick’s because people will start to say that his coaching reputation is just founded on the fact that he had a great QB. And vice versa.
if only Mo Lewis would have pulled up – we would not be having this discussion
i still think they should trade Coles.

Alright, alright let’s not go overboard on Laveranues Coles after all basically up until last year he was one of the biggest weapons the Jets had. But of course new contract was cried and injuries and short lessons with Favre haven’t really helped Coles adapt to what is all “new” for the Jets.
I would like to keep Coles seeing that in most cases he is a reliable reciever but if he can’t produce the way many fans and staff members want one of two things will happen either he will meet up with Chad in Miami or he will lose his starting job but which sounds more likely?
But drifting away from Coles has anyone though what New York will do with Justin Miller he has gone ot the Pro Bowl but also has been plagued with injuries… Makes me wonder what the Jets will do to Miller if he can’t make things happen this seaosn himself.
maybe we can trade coles to miami when clowney comes back lol.
Quick question. If Cassel goes down with an injury who is the 3rd string QB for the Pats?
I know they signed Simms but he cant be ready.
Scott, the Titans signed Chris Simms.
dan,
if you had a pair of your own you wouldn’t be talking about his. for whatever coles says, he has consistently proven to be a tough player who delivers on the field. i agree that if he doesn’t come around soon, there is enough young talent behind him as to make him tradeable. and, too, that he’s whining and being overly dramatic. but there’s a body of evidence documenting his toughness. there’s none for you.
md
Can’t get rid of Coles unfortunately, his contract is guaranteed, will be a tremendous cap hit, about 6 mil, I think.
Scott, The Patriots resigned Gutierrez
Well said MD
dan
and the rest of you that can take every thread to a hate Coles agenda.
Who cares what he says. It is what he does, and having missed the pre season, and having little or no time to develop chemistry with Favre…well just what did you expect in the first game. If Coles comes on and plays well as the season progresses will you then shut up and stop the Coles bashing?
Better yet will you have the courage to admit you were wrong.
I posted this earlier to help some of you better understand why LC has a somewhat different outlook on friendship and loyalty. I suggest you Coles haters read it and then try to imagine how it might have effected you to have gone through what he has endured.
I have for some time now attempted to explain some of Cole’s behavior off the field, and always believed his on field performance spoke clearly as to who he is, and what he means to our team.
I agonized about sharing this with some of you built in the Johnny Styne hate mentality, but feel it necessary to share this with the rest of you.
I do not offer this as any excuse, but rather as a way to better understand LC and why having Chad leave might have a different effect on him then on any of us.
I ask that you read this and reconsider some of the harsh things said about LC for the past several months.
I say to Cole’s your friend Chad is now and will forever be your friend. Long after you both retire that friendship will live on.
Now, read it and weep.

lol hahaha, wow i didn’t know my comments would draw so much attention. I realize that he and coles had a deep relationship more than what we can understand, but you have to move on with your life. chad is happy in Miami and looks like he is moving on, i feel that coles should do the same. Im not saying he should have the same relationship that coles shared with pennington, but not make these distractions about how he has no chemistry with favre he should do what he did earlier this year not say anything.
I don’t feel like being a psychitrist over hear(jetchick;MD) and analyzing why he had such a chemistry and why he is the way he is. Im a fan for a reason. I want my team to win! with all said an done thats what we all want, thats why I feel if hes got nothing nice to say don’t say it at all!!!
Thats very profound and sweet of you Danny Boy. Now take a brief moment and read this. For your information I am not an MD just an MSW counselor for abused children. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/09/18/sports/football/18coles.htm
Perhaps if your father raped you repeatedly as did Coles you would be better able to grasp the horrible pain child molesters inflict on their innocent prey.
Perhaps you should take your own advice talk less and think more. We all want our team to do great things, but some of us understand that there is more to life then football.
Favre, “I am having trouble developing chemistry with coles” “this is a setback”
