Katie Strang, in today for the sakebombed Erik Boland, reports from practice. It sounds like the new punter, Mr. Hodges … didn’t get off to a rip-roaring start in practice.
-From our viewing portion at practice today,newly-acquired punter Reggie Hodges was struggling. First punt we saw, he dropped the snap, and eked out a 40-yarder. Next one went only about 30-35 yards. He managed a couple for 50+ afterwards, but I wonder if the Jets are wondering where Kapinos is these days.
Yikes. Let’s just hope the jitters are all worked out for freaking Monday Night Football … no pressure …
After Erik’s admission yesterday on his blog about sushi and how it reminds him of someone he used to know … we imagine this was how he spent his evening …
Banzai!!!!!!!!!

Bassett:
I’ve asked about Kapinos a few days now Before we signed Hodges. Can anyone ask the Jets why we never brought this guy in?

Strang was wrong. It wasn’t Hodges she was watching it was the practice squadder making the errors. She corrected it on E-Bola’s blog.
