For those who watched the game, it was easy to tell that Favre did something to his leg during the game, and apparently from Favre it was a ‘rolled’ ankle.
“I rolled my ankle up, early in the third quarter … I think [the X-Rays] are okay … aside from the old ankle. I’m fine … I’ll probably feel horrible tomorrow.”
Favre was hobbling around the locker room after the game with his left ankle wrapped. I doubt it will keep him out of his next home game versus Arizona, but it’s something to watch how it heals, and how he plays while it heals.

Would you ruin Favre’s consecutives start streak to rest him?

Can’t rest Favre; this is a critical game. 2-2 going into the bye sets up the rest of the season well, 2 games under .500, even this early, makes the Jets season much tougher. By the way, the Chargers would’ve given KC an easy TD and he still threw an INT. When will the Jets FO realize that Ratliff deserves the back up job?

They didn’t give KC anything they weren’t giving Favre. Saw Favre make the same style bad play. You can’t know KC for that.

This sums up my feeling about what’s “wrong” with the Jets. It’s this kind of expectation for BF:

Finally a sports writer wrote all of the things I have said about Favre since 2004. Aaah I’m better now. Go Jets

If we were just more realistic about the process instead of unrealistic expectations of the personalities, we’d be talking like we were in the off-season, looking to be 2 and 2 at the bye. Hoping we’d jell by the bye. (So to speak)

it wouldn’t be so bad to rest him this week, play clemens and or ratliff, and give favre two full weeks with bye to catch up on playbook and rest up. that’s what i’d do, but probably not mangini…
