Port Authority Bus to Jets Games Restored

by Bassett on September 25th, 2008 at 9:45 am

For those of you looking for public transit to the game, NJ Transit has restored direct bus service from the Port Authority Bus Terminal (PABT) for football games at the Meadowlands while continuing to operate the new rail/bus service via the Secaucus Junction.

NJ Transit will operate the old No. 351 direct bus service from the PABT to the Meadowlands Sports Complex for all Jets home football games. In addition, the new No. 353 rail/bus shuttle from Penn Station New York with connecting bus service at Secaucus Junction will also be available for football fans going to the Meadowlands — giving customers both rail and bus options for games this season.

As for those of you who are going to use satellite parking, the NJSEA cordially hopes you D.I.A.F.

    This is great news

Anyone who is taking the bus but still wants to tailgate should check out http://www.tailwaiters.com

We set you up in the common grass areas between the lots. Been working out great so far.

Email me at zach@tailwaiters.com if you have any questions

  3. I just scored a couple of tix to this week’s game. Anyone want to meet up in the lot beforehand?

How does the bus work do you have to buy a ticket in advance or just walk up on game day?

Anyone know which of these options is fastest? I am inclined to believe the PABT bus is, but I remember sitting in the tunnel for hours after a game. What are the lines like for the train option. I am catching a bus out of town around 6pm after the KC game and don’t want to miss it. I can get a bus from either PABT or nearby Penn Station.
