News: Carson Palmer’s Game Against the Cowboys

Cincinnati QB Carson Palmer, who sat last week was 23-39 for 217 yards, 2TDs, 1 INT against the Cowboys yesterday.  Palmer was slow to start and had trouble with some of his passes early, but as the game wore on, Palmer had a good second half and seemed to have gained his timing.  His elbow shouldn’t limit him from playing, so expect to see Carson Palmer leading the Bengals next week against the Jets.

  1. If Favre and Company put up another 49 point effort, the Jets defense should have no problem limiting Cincinnati to 48 points.

    I smell a victory.

  2. we have a great secondary…..we just need to put pressure on carson and rattle him….

    i smell a victory as well…..

and lets give brett the ball and let him pick apart this defense….

we really need this victory expecially with miami at our heels…..watching miami beat two teams the jets lost to makes me sick

  3. as clubber lang said….

i predict one thing for carson palmer this sunday….pain

  4. We were lucky we got Miami early and lucky we got the Cards here at home…I hope the team dosen’t read too much into last week’s win…Cincy still smells blood and they are hungry..This is the kind of game that can bite us in the a$$….

I know some people do not appreciate some of your comments, but I think they have been right on. !!! We ARE allowed to talk football in general; aren’t we Basset?

Remember what a great philosopher once said (me)….”denial is the greater part of being dumb”. This certainly applies to the charter members of the ‘Johnny Styne Cub’ with their motto ” FARVE IS THE TEAM AND THE TEAM IS FARVE”

  6. PS.
Bassett, how are you feeling man, I hope you have gotten completely over whatever you you had. You are not in quarantine. Are you?

  7. The Jets need to be very careful with the Bengals. They are desperate. They seem to be getting better every week, and if we are not prepared they will catch us by surprise. C. Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh missed the entire pre-season, and started out slow, they both looked pretty good against Dallas, same for Palmer.

  8. I agree, this Cinci team is looking for an excuse to blow up on some team, and talk about hungry…. 0-5. I think this game comes down to whether our Defense can keep pressure on Palmer. If we can do that, we can win this game. Kenny Watson won’t rack up career numbers this time, not with Jenkins and the much shored up run D.
