The Jets are trying to get the word out about the Coaches Club seats in the new stadium and have drafted one of New York’s most famous faces to do so.
The Jets Coaches Club combine 50 yard line seats with sideline access. Club members will be able to stand on the field and watch the game, five yards from the Jets bench, or inside a private 20,000 square foot bar and lounge designed by famed architect David Rockwell. In addition to complimentary food and beverage, Club members will receive free VIP parking adjacent to the stadium.
What do you think about this move? Will you participate in the auction? Like it? Hate it? Let us know.

Can’t wait to see the bids. So much for our economic depression, eh?
-
does this mean trump is the only one that will be able to afford the seats?
-
well they are going all out getting the TRUMP to do this thing ,
I’m not gonna participate in this auction but it seems like the seats are worth it , being so close you get to lick the sweat off of Hollywood”s face -
Donald freakin’ Trump.
Wow. The Jets marketing team really has their “finger on the pulse” of the Jets fan base.
How about having the flight crew and Jenn Sterger dancing in bikinis. That would make for a much better ad.

Ah, Bassett…using TJB for Woody’s personal wish list. :)

What a joke. Sending the completely wrong message.

Hmmm what company should I get a job with so I can maybe get to sit in this section once in my lifetime?

The Chad,
You should have known they don’t care about the “fans who really matter” when they signed the 99-year deal to stay in NJ with the giants. Period. No sports franchise has less of a clue about their true fan base than the Jets.

Woody is all M-O-N-E-Y, not F-A-N-S!!

Forgetting the fact that they tossed the fans who were there for 40 plus years (going back to Shea) out, this is typical of the Woody elitist Bush loving ownership. Someone down there will see nothing but the rear ends of fat lineman, but the idea is to be seen. So Trump and his buddies, true Jets fans I’m sure, can suck down their martinis for everyone to envy. Woody and Mara can take their luxury box elitist stadium and stuff it you know where. After 44 years as a season ticket holder this is my last. You know where you can go, Woody.

Strange, 20 something years going to the Meadowlands and I don’t ever remember sitting next to Trump. This is just another example of the blatant greed of the organization. “Let’s fill the stadium with Trump-wannabees, screw our REAL fan base.”
No…I’m not bidding for the coaches club and I also won’t be extorted into handing over my dwindling retirement savings for the “privilege” of sitting in the same seats I’ve had since 1984. Add to that the tickets, gas, tolls, parking, $7.50 beers, and traffic up the a**……watching it from a jumping sports bar on L.I. is looking better and better!

Call me crazy, but this is another move that is slowly ripping the soul out of this team (and the game itself). I always felt that the backbone of any NFL franchise was the diehard, bluecollar-type fans that live, breath and bleed their team and its colors.
Now, I am not saying that the type of person that can afford these seats can not be a fan, however, a team represents the area in which it is situated, along with its people. I can’t imagine the groups of people who have been season ticket holders for 50 years, long enough to have a shot a seats like these (pre-psl’s) will make much of an impact in the bidding on these seats.
Aside from the big f-you the organization seems to be presenting to the average fan, NO ONE should be allowed the right to be on the sidelines during the game. This seems like a concession to the over-privileged few who don’t deserve this any more than any other fan who works their butt off to afford (or should i say, used to afford) tickets to the game.
Is the face-and-body painted, passionate, name-their-kids after Namath, Gastinau, Byrd, Martin, etc. type of fan going to be sitting in these seats? NO. I thought those where the fans who truly mattered.
I guess I was wrong. Very wrong.
