Stop all of this Jet fan mentality. Always expecting the worst. We'll win easily. Be confident and positive for once.

The Jets have a way of making backup QB's look like SB champs so I'm worried. Aditionally, I'm like 2-17 lifetime when I go to a game....and I'm going Sunday.

Perhaps BF will change all that?

Honestly, I'm not sure how to feel about this news. On paper, it should be a no brainer Jets victory. But the Jets didn't destroy Cassel in week two, and in fact, the dump off tosses have been the Jets achilles heel. After a bye week, with much hubris(I always wanted to use that word !), I can see this team being overly confident, despite its past history after a bye. It reminds me of how the Yankees always seem to make rookie pitchers they face look like Cy Young. I guess the best way to describe my feelings about this game is... cautiously optimistic. If we can stop the run, and force Fitzy to try to beat us, similar to what we did with Chad, then I see us victorious. If Perry/Watson/Benson turn into Kevin Faulk, then we've got problems. Also, I really, really want to see our running attack get unleashed!

Ha. That was my game of the week. I loved the battle of Ohio. Can't wait for part two. Hope you guys have Palmer for that one though.

Dave, you forgot, he was also the leading rusher for the Bengals that game.

Man, we are screwed.

There's a good chance Levi Jones is out too. Ouch.

Ryan Fitzpatrick started against the Browns this season and he put up a gorgeous stat line of 21/35(60%), 156 yards(4.45 YPA), 1 TD, 3 INTs, QB rating of 44.5. That was against the Browns. Palmer has been struggling, but his starts were against some of the league's top defenses. Huge downgrade for the Bengals and with the Jets super prepared, this one shouldn't be close.

Check out this link for My take on Fitzpatrick:

http://www.whodeyfans.com/2008/10/were-behind-ryan-fitzpatrick.html

Most important stats from the Cleveland game he started:
3 interceptions, 1 lost fumble.

However, he found out about 3 hours before the game that he was going to start. Maybe (big maybe) they had a little more prep time this week?

True, but its near impossible to put up 30 + points dinking and dunking. We can do that. If we set the tempo of this game and use the run to set up the pass we will win this game handily.
