I have to say it: I hate those Titan uniforms!!! Whoever the woman in the front office is that's been making the decision to dress the team in a completely meaningless and unfamiliar uniform needs to be reasigned to work with the cheerleading squad or something. Can we please get back to the look and feel of the New York Jets and never speak of this embarassment again?!

md--
I don't think that Smith is still developing. He's played poorly this year, and the safety shuttle continues. Let's use Elam and make SS a draft priority next year.

To digress, but certainly relevant to the general talk about our improved defense, I'm not sold on Eric Smith. I like a lot about him, but I always want him to be better than his actual performance. I know he had the interception against the Cards, but other than that, he always seems a step or two short of arriving at the play in time to make an impact. Additionally, he's missed at least two cover assignments that I've noticed that have resulted in long gains. He's certainly not the hitter Elam is, who, I realize, may not have some of Smith's intangibles. However, too often those 'intangibles' don't translate into actually making plays. If there is a weakness in our defense, it's the strong safety position, where we haven't yet found the rock to lock it down. Maybe Smith is still developing, but he's been around a while now. Anyone else share that opinion or disagree?
