Will Montgomery Waived Again

As I guessed earlier today, the Jets have waived backup Center/Guard Will Montgomery to make room for Safety Eric Smith, who returned from suspension on Tuesday.   Montgomery is the team’s backup Center, but the Jets must feel confident in Damien Woody as a Center and Wayne Hunter as a Tackle should something happen to Mangold …

    Or they could use Dearth and just line Favre up ten yards deeper in the pocket.

    I believe Robert Turner played some center in preseason too.

    I still don’t like the make up of the roster. Can we waive a coach to make room for Montgomery??
