Larry Johnson Apologizes Publicly

Chiefs Running Back Larry Johnson has taken the step to publicly apologize for some of his recent actions, which you can read the report on ProFootballTalk. Other that the first part where Johnson notes that he is “kind of disgusted” with himself, it’s your basic agent boilerplate public apology.
It remains to be seen whether he will be benched again by Herman Edwards against the Jets. Signs were pointing to him being benched again yesterday for the looming assault charges over his head.

NFL LIVE said that LJ will NOT play this sunday. after LAST weeks showing in OAKLAND,that is REALLY good news…we need ALL the help we can get!

I recall Dick Vermeil calling LJ a baby… and that guy can cry.
Looks like the trade deadline came and went and some lame dame interupted his pitty party. Could be the best assist for the Jets this season since Favre’s block on the Brad Reverse play last week.

I think I might jump off a cliff if we manage to lose (or even almost lose) this game. If there were ever a time for a 49-3 stomping, IT IS NOW!
it really doesn’t mater if LJ plays or not…becuz the jets play to loose…sutton’s play calling will make thigpen look like an all pro QB…just like he made russel look like 1…he’s pathetic…
now to our pathetic off.CO…shotty ( sucky ) will make KC’S defense look like its the #1 D in the league…he couldn’t game plan if his life depended on it…and to those who think our recievers aren’t that good…i have to say this…we could have TO and MOSS on our team and sucky wouldn’t know how to use them…hell,we can have an all star ofense and still suck…thats how much sucky sucks…anyway,as always these are just my thoughts…
Why do they need LJ?? They have the great Hern Edwards to lead them…..In saying that you know Herm will get these kids fired up to play on Sunday. I can see Herm using our Oakland loss as motivation for his crappy team……My boy Mangini better have these troops focused to dominate ealry and not let these young Chiefs get confident…
I expect a big game from Stuckey and Keller as it looks likes Coles has a concussion and Cotch is banged up.
Despite the pathetic loss last week I see no reason why the Jets won’t absolutely DOMINATE this game in all 3 phases in front of the home crowd and get some momentum heading up to Buffalo.
We really need a a good ol’ fashioned beatdown on these Chiefs! Gotta build up the mojo heading into Buffalo. Ordinarily I’d say this is a classic trap game, but after the Oakland debacle, this team needs to shine brightly right from the start. A clean, mistake-free, slobber-knocker would be just the elixor this team and their fans need!
