Ruh Roh … Look Who Got Credentials?

So this weekend will mark the first time that we at TJB have actual game credentials. (OMG!!!)

In light of this fact, we want to make it clear that we would never have gotten to the point where the Jets would actually take us seriously enough to give us credentials, if it wasn’t for each and every one of you readers and commenters.  If we don’t say thanks enough, thanks again for making this blog as great as it is.

In the grass-roots tradition of this blog, we’ll be taking some of your questions with us this weekend when and if we get the chance to talk to the players, coaches, etc.

No promises, but please leave some below and we’ll do our best to ask as many as we can that:

1)
We can get in while jockeying for position against renowned question hogs like Erik Boland from Newsday.
2) Aren’t rambling wrecks.
3)
Don’t end with us getting punched in the face.

  1. Congrats Scoob.

  2. Congrats Brian, Bent and everyone. Very good work. Just ask how much longer Herm has to go, and how we’ll ever beat Buffalo.

  3. Great stuff Bassett, its been a while and I am amazed at how far this blog has progressed since then. Well let me see:

    1. Will we see Justin Miller on the field anytime in the near future on the field on defense or special team? What is his status?

    2. What is the condition/status of Mike Nugent’s injury? Is he ready to go in the upcoming weeks?

    3. Who will be the #3 receiver is it Stuckey or Smith or Clowney?

  4. If the Jets win the coin toss and decide not to defer, win or lose, ask why the Jets haven’t deferred all season. With coin toss wins against struggling offenses, like the Bengals and Raiders, the Jets elected to receive rather than let their defense face a struggling offense. Moreover, the Jets have been awful in the 3rd quarter, why not get the ball to start the 3rd quarter. It’s an obscure question that’s maybe better for a mid-week presser, but I would like to know Mangini’s thought process.

  5. Ask them if the reason you got credentials was because DSmizzle was quoted in the NY Times.

  6. Two questions,
1)Is the inconcistency in the passing offense more a result of the recievers not getting open or the offensive line up and down play
    2) Do the Jets plan to get more creative in the blitz package and play more zone pass coverage for LB’s

Thanks man try to get an answer if u can

  7. I cannot think of any questions that won’t get you punched in the face. (Unless you ask them to Justin Miller, in which case the guy stood next to you will probably get punched in the face instead).

  8. Bassett:

    One qustion;

How much $ did it cost you for the credentials and be carefull, next year you might to

  9. Correction….be careful, next year you might have to purchase PSL’s. Just kidding. Congrats Bassett, you and your guys really deserve it.

  10. Is Jets management willing to admit the Brett Favre trade isn’t working out so well?

  11. Great Job Brian and Co. Keep it up!

Maybe you can give us a good inside report on the attitude of the team in the locker-room before and after the game- also some insight on the sideline conversations.

  12. Ask Bob Sutton why he is afraid to blitz. I would love to know

  13. Congrats on the creds.

Ask Mangini why anyone would need to check the color of a “cold-activated” sticker to see if their beer is cold.

I guess the old hand on the bottle test wasn’t good enough.

  14. Do they ever plan on using the play action pass again this season?

  15. yeah, congrats. you guys generally do incredibly thorough and insightful work. keep it up!

  16. To any jet player:
Do you think the jets would have been better or worse with Chad at the helm.

  17. thanks for the questions and encouragement!

I’ll be putting them all in my pocket! I’ll try and give twitter updates and let you know how it goes of course after the fact!

  18. Wow, excellent work. Huge step for the blogosphere!

From a Chiefs fan…Bob Sutton for Herm Edwards, straight up?

  19. That bad luck mojo with you in stands…will that extend to the press box?
