In case you haven’t noticed hank/naples and I are not the same person we are family just like the jets were until moneybags began spending and putting on a show for the whole nfl and his ignorant followers like yourselves believed it and followed the hype. Its about time FARVE gave up on himself and hangs up his football attire. His image is too painful to watch on a Jets team searching for an identity.

Please, go away, you are not a real Jets fan, which is hard enough without a D_ckhead like you screwing up everything. Chad Pennington cannot take any team to the Super Bowl, and without that a QB is not revelant, and that my friend is what it’s all about. With Favre we have a QB who has that potential.

I know that ever since DEADLY DISEASE has gotten here Mangini has acted differently. Look now even the players are desperate for a playoff spot. They talk about it every week. Was it motivated by a desire to shift the heat off Favre? I wouldn’t think consciously, but how to best handle Favre’s celebrity status, etc. is a tricky question and maybe in this instance the dilemma got the best of Mangini. Obviously, I can only guess at what prompted it, but, I would also guess, that, in retrospect, Mangini might regret it.

I have had the same issue with Schotty and his player “packages” since 2006.

Back in 2006, we had the “running package” with Keven Barlow and D. Barnes, the fb. Anytime they came in the game, we were running the ball.

Anytime Leon came in the game, “passing package” we threw the ball. It is very predictable at times.

This week was a lot less predictable because we came into the game passing from the broken-I which threw the chiefs off guard. Hence, we scored pretty easily on our first drive.

I have to disagree with you on that. That was the worse play call of the day.

I watched the play over and over. the chiefs had 3 defensive linemen and 3 linebackers that were heavily shifted to the right side. They had 3 CB’s that were lined up on the line of scrimmage and then they had 2 safties, one was playing 2 yards off the ball and the other was playing 4 yards off the ball.

The jets came out looking like they were in 5 wide w/coles and J Co split out, Chansi Stuckey was in the slot to the left and Leon Washington and Keller where lined up tight, shading the outside shoulders of the left and right tackles.

First off, the chiefs blitzed 3 linebackers to the side of Leon Washington and up the middle, forcing LW to sprint back to the middle of the field to pick up the blitizing line backer. He obviously got pushed back into favre’s face because he had the worst angle to block him. It was almost like a trap play.

Keller was lined up on the same side of Stuckey and looked like he was doing a fly and Chansi Stuckey went underneath him. Stuckey first got jammed at the line and broke out but the saftey from the opposite side of the field read the play. He started running at Stuckey before Stuckey got off the line of scrimmage from the opposide side of the field…

Brett didnt see the saftey running across the field. He never looked into the middle of the field to see the right saftey sprint towards Stuckey before Stuck even got off the line. Stuck got jammed, was unable to get into the spot, saftey read the play beautifully and broke on the ball, and Favre had pressure in his face and threw it in the middle of the field.

It was 3rd and 2, we were in Shot gun with no Rb near Favre. The chiefs had the DL and 3 LB and we had absolutely no threat of running the ball on that play cuz no one was near favre. The chiefs played it beautufully.
