Simms is dead on. That eight plus minute drive dictated by the offensive line and ground game after farves interception was the deciding factor. For a minute there it looked like the same old dysfuntional Jets. We won today because the whole team executed and played well within the game plan. I hope this shows all the FIRE THE COACHES BLOWHARDS that we can win if all the players get on the same page and not give the ball away on momentum, emotion draining bonehead turnovers we are a good team. WE are starting to feel an identity We CAN”T go back placing the game in Farve’s hands so he can be his gunslinger self. We must continue to play within the gameplan that was designed before Farve got here. Yesterday proved that it can AND does work.

we did execute VERY well. we forced turnovers, absolutely stuffed the run (bills: 30 yards rushing??), applied a tremendous amount of pressure (5 sacks- jenkins a BEAST), and established our running game while having an effective passing game
i say we’ve found an identity, and i really hope we continue this type of play. of course if we hadn’t gotten that pick 6 or that fumble we would have lost, so we absolutely NEED to be more effective in the red zone. settling for 4 field goals is not acceptable, and we got away with a lot in this aspect of the game. this is something we need to improve on. maybe some more deep passses as well- I only remember one to coles that wasn’t caught.
all in all, im a happy jet fan

why did SALISBURY leave ESPN,did he get fired or what?

They parted ways because he felt he wasing getting his fair due. He felt that because he was an NFL quarterback and he had played the game he should’ve gotton more exposure I guess, than some of the analysts who have never played. Money may have been part of that issue as well.
