These guys aren’t “human” or at least don’t take “over the counter” stuff like advil. Then when they’re in their 40’s they can’t get out of bed.

just saw on ESPN that HARRIS is going to miss 2-3 weeks. Is that ALL the time it’ll take for that surgery to heal? I totally think its gonna be more like 4-5 weeks.They arent going to RUSH him back too early and risk injuring it AGAIN. We’re gonna need him for the PLAYOFFS!

Yea Bowens did good and I have faith in him but I think this is a perfect oppurtunity to let the rookie play some more snaps, right now he is our depth and with one of our LB’s out this would be a good time to find a way to rotate him in there. I think he could play some MLB. It would be nice to see him out on the field.

I love the way Rotoworld describes Jenkins at the end of this blurb.

Jets ILB David Harris had his groin surgically repaired Wednesday and will miss the next 2-3 weeks at least.

And he may not be 100 percent for much longer than that. As good as Harris is, the Jets’ rush defense is certain to remain stout because of NT Kris Jenkins. Substitute ILB David Bowens should be very effective behind Jenkins’ uncommon combination of strength, athleticism, and size.

Gholston? No David Bowens will play there. He did fine last week filling in.

anyone think gholston can move to the inside… hes got alot more speed then bowens and might be better in coverage…

i might be reaching here but watching bowens in coverage was tough

i hope gholston can step up
