Bent says: If he doesn’t resign with the Saints before the draft we just get a 4th rounder and according to a Saints blogger they have already said they’ll wait until after the draft, so it looks like that’s what the Jets will get. Having also spent a high pick on Shockey the Saints are apparently willing to risk another team picking him up or the price being driven up.
If that report is inaccurate (or if Vilma continues to do well and the Saints are no longer prepared to take the risk), then the Jets will get a second and give up a 4th, assuming he keeps up his current pace.

Drob needs to play something like 70% of Denvers defensove plays. If he doesn’t we get nothing. If he does we get a low round pick. Doubt he will play that much. Jets just looked at it as a salary dump.

Speaking of trades, I haven’t been able to find a percentage-of-snaps stat for Dwayne Robertson. Aren’t we supposed to get a 2nd rounder if he plays 60% or something?
