You can still watch this video here.
Thought you would enjoy this one … here’s a clip of the Jets going wild in the tunnel after their win against New England. Please note, someone does drop an f-bomb on Woody, so don’t crank it up with the kiddos or at the office. Enjoy it as long as it’s still up! :)
Best part? James Ihedigbo’s reaction.
“HELL YEAH WOODY!!!”
I love the Woody’s enthusiasm and that he greeted the team, but if he wants to stay relevant with his younger players, he might want to try the Fist Bump to Rocksplosion Combo or maybe the increasingly popular Jump Bump.
Also, check out the crew from SportsNite debating about the Jets.

thats hilarious. does anyone know who that was dropping the f bombs at woody johnson?

Thanks so much for posting this! I searched all over for this clip after seeing it live on SNY’s Jets Post Game. Such a fun, wonderful moment. I had to watch it over and over. It’s just so great to see the team that excited about the win.
Someone also captured the same moment but from just past the tunnel, with Mike Tannenbaum greeting the players: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcLMD-d_VXw. I find the Woody clip much more exciting, but there are golden moments in the Tannenbaum clip.

It certainly puts the W in perspective…all the second guessing around the near collapse goes out the window when you win. That was great to see. It seemed like the Big Free Agents signed this year certainly were sought out by Woody.

Thanks T-money…The Tannenbaum clip with Favre was classic. I believe they both dropped a couple of F bombs there. Just an awesome feeling.
-
Great link T-Money, the hug between schott and favre and then the bear hug by tannembaum on favre, “that was f’ing great, thats better than great, f yea, f yea!”
awesome

Dude Im getting PUMPED for Sunday after that, THANK YOU T-MONEY!!!!!!!!

Am I crazy or is Kerry Rhodes the tallest player on the team? He looked two inches taller than Keyshawn Johnson. With Shaun Ellis a close second.
I like Woody better for not giving the fist bump, and his enthusiam and appreciation seemed total and true. He’s a whole lot easier to take than Jerry Jones. -
Dang, if you ever really need a man-hug, see Brett Favre.

You are all very welcome. Both sets of footage bring me such joy. I think what’s amazing about it is that, the emotion expressed in those clips is just so far from the usual experience of being a Jets fan (and, one can probably assume, a Jets player or staff member).
One thing I noticed the first time I watched each version was, why is Lowery so not excited? Though upon further watching, he does crack a smile after both handshakes. But he just seems so…unhappy.
I wish I could make out what Kerry Rhodes said to Tannenbaum. The only word that I thought I could hear was, “money.” I’m so curious what that was about.

Awesome clips. God Jenkins is a monster!
-
that is a GREAT video! look at how pumped they were after beating the silly Pats!!!
-
lowery was probably still upset about his dropped pick that almost lost the game for us…sick videos though
-
those two clips are both great. thanks very much for posting them.
it wasn’t just lowery who looked less than happy, though. mangold and faneca didn’t look thrilled either. any thoughts?
still, watching both of those clips was awesome. it almost made me believe that we can win this sunday!
-
I thought the same thing with Lowery but always heard he was a level headed kid. Not looking into the OL reaction. The are usually low key……I was suprised how unhappy Poteat looked. You would think he would be happy that we just be one of his former teams. Or was he unhappy that T Law stole his reps?
-
Lowery looked fine to me. It was Hank Poteat who stood out to be as very unenthused. Great clips regardless and I agree that Kerry Rhodes looked like a giant.
Is it just me, or do most of the players seem to kinda brush Woody aside? Not that I care, I just would’ve expected players to pay more mind to the guy who signs their checks. Most guys didn’t even look at him.
-
I would assume most of the players have no idea what Woody looks like. You see players like Ellis and Rhodes who have been here for a while that went right towards him……It was nice to see Woody. I wished we could have seen the NE tunnel and R Kraft.
-
awesome!!!
“aint nobody surpriiiiiised…..”
-
I think Kerry Rhodes said “you got your money’s worth tonight” and Tannebaum said something like “you know I like getting my MONEY’S worth”. Im pretty sure as I have watched this video 100 times and it keeps getting better every time i see it…T-MONEY YOU HIT A GRAND SLAM ON THIS ONE!!!!

I love the Favre / Schottenheimer hug!

James Ihedigbo was probably still excited from the first play of the game when he laid out R Ventrone. You can also see how emotional T Jones was….. I did find myself smiling like a little kid while watching this video. It early but it’s been a long time since things felt this good.
