  1. That was a lot of work thanks for the stats!

  2. Thanks for the stats! I am glad this is a home game and not in Denver. The Denver offense can move the ball, but apparently they can’t stop anyone either. This could turn out to be a shoot out.

  3. If TJ/Leon/the O-Line were able to run for almost 200 against the Titans, imagine what they can do to this hapless Broncos defense. I’m licking my chops. Unless Cutler goes nuts, I don’t even think this will be a game, and I’m not one for hyperbole or exaggeration.

  4. The Broncos are a team that is definitely worse than their record suggests. Nice stat work

  5. Can you say Shoot out or what? I can’t , this is probably the only time Brett can wing and still come out with 0 INT’s, but we shouldn’t throw towards the Champ, throw to the other side and it’s gonna be a field day for Keller and Stuckey and even Clowney if he plays

    or

Jets run for 500 yds on the ground, one or the other or maybe even both, I’m just worried about Cutler and Marshall making it look interesting

  6. Great stat job, thanks. I did not realize the Denver D was so bad statistically. We should be able to push them up and down the field. Which would obviously help. I would love to see Cutler, Marshall and company on the sidelines for 35 or 40 minutes.
    Go Jets

  7. Thank God there is a game this weekend to distract everyone from the Jets vs. Giants Super Bowl happening in two months.

I hope the team’s focus better then ours and the media.

25th and 27th against the pass and the run…should be a fun day.

I think that the Jets should employ a “5 in the box” defense against the Broncos. KJ and the linebackers should be able to contain Denver’s non existing running game. That will leave the Jets with 2 extra DBs…that way they could triple cover Marshall all day.

  8. im not even cloe to being worried about marshall because revis will absolutley shut him down. cutler is always capable of a big game and we need to shut down eddie royal because he will be the biggest threat to us. other than that TJ and neon leon should be huge for us

  9. triple cover marshall? when we didnt even need to double cover moss for a lot of the game?

  10. Great stats, thanks. If the Jets stay focused (which I’m sure they will) they should win this one going away. Based on the post-game comments of some of the Jets players (Favre, Jenkins, etc.) I think they are well grounded and realize the Super Bowl talk after 11 games is for the fans and media only.

  11. and who would have thought the new ownership could turn the broncos into double superbowl champions in just 2 short years

  12. We should be able to dominate the trenches here, which is really what wins games. When we establish the run, then we are able to kick in the play-action. I see a huge day for TJ and Catch-ery who by the way has not dropped a pass all season!!

imagine Favre has completed 70% of his passes all season, now he plays a team that allows 69.9% completion, and Favre just finished playing the best pass-defense in the lague! In DVOA Favre was the best of all QB’s last week.

Now lets run it down their throats!! I expect Scheffler to be a big target for them in this game, but the other receivers will be shut-out

  13. EddieC…

Its called sarcasm. Marshall is the ony threat the Broncos have…that’s all I was saying.

  14. anyone know if we will see david clowney activated soon? i would really love to see that kid get out there….how is he doing in practice?

  15. also when was the last time chris baker caught a pass….he is strictly been used for blocking lately

  16. ever since seeing chris baker fall down in open field against the raiders that day….i really could care less if they dont throw to the guy for the rest of the season, lol.

  17. With a lot of passing yardage and with the Jets giving up a lot, the Broncos may be a tougher matchup than some people think. It will take a bunch of points from our offense to sew this one up. Something like 35-40 pts.

  18. Baker has essentially blown his career this year. His disastrous attempt to use the Pete Kendall situation to leverage a renegotiation could not have backfired more. He basically separated himself from the program with his ill-timed whining and has not been able to find his way back in. Between his missed block for a strip-sack score and couple of untimely drops, he’s engendered no confidence from a QB known for providing TE’s with personal highlight reels. Throw in Keller’s emergence and it would appear his Jet days are numbered just as his market value has plummeted.

  19. amen subway

  20. I don’t think you get rid of a good blocking TE, unless you have a replacement in mind?
