Matt Light getting off is absolutely ridiculous and reeks of pro-Patriot bias from the NFL.
If you haven’t seen the tape, go watch it. Channing Crowder has no helmet on, and Light straight up punches him, barefisted, in the face two or three times before Crowder scampers away. I’d love to know what the NFL was looking at to say that that was a suspendable offense. It was just as flagrant as the Albert Haynesworth head stomp, and he got four games if I recall correctly.
Don’t you love how Crowder is laughing as he gets away? I hate the Dolphins, but to me that means that Matt Light is a pussy. 4 hits to the head and no one should be laughing at you.
Crowder laughed as he scampered away. I hate the Dolphins, but Light hits like a girl.
bassett, football outsiders had a good article about big jinx and stuffing the ren against the titans
