Frustrating as it is at times, we have to be patient with Mangini’s development. Following are the records of some of the best HCs in recent memory after their first 3 and 6 full seasons:

If the Jets win out, Mangini has the third best 3 year record of the bunch. While I think Cowher, Parcells or Belichick (and maybe some of the others) would do a better job with our talent, they have the benefit of many years of experience.

I really like the way Mangini has been approaching this season. In my view he is starting to show his coaching abilities and knowledge. He is growing as a coach as well (this is his first head coach position)After the denver game he clearly called out the OC and DC, which needed to be done. I have a feeling they will be replaced in the offseason. Keep Mangini and ditch the rest, I cant think of an available coach that would work better.

I don’t know how much tailgating I will be doing…I am making the cross-country flight that morning. But as always at an away game…I will be wearing my #99 away jersey.
