Sorry, but the idea that NE is going to lose a must game at home to an Arizona team that has absolutely nothing to play for and mailed it in last week is a pipe dream.

Well why don’t the Jet’s just win the last 2 game’s and not worry about all the rest!!!!
Kinda hard to depend on help from other team’s this late in the season………………..

That’s not true. If we lose to Seattle and beat Miami, the Patriots and Ravens only need to lose ONE of their last two. In that scenario, we’d hold the tiebreaker with all three teams at 10-6. However, this would not be the case if we beat Seattle and lose to Miami. The only way we get in if we beat Seattle and lose to Miami is if the Patriots and Ravens BOTH lose their remaining two games.

To reiterate, if either the Ravens or Patriots lose before the Jets kick off on Sunday, the Seahawks game becomes meaningless except in terms of seeding.

If we lose against seattle and win against miami and NE loses one game then the jets win the division, If the jets lose to seattle and beat miami and baltimore loses to jacksonville we get the wildcard based on conference record, if baltimore beats jacksonville and loses to dallas then the jets would get the wildcard based on strength of schedule tiebreaker. There a a ton of ways in……lets just hope they do it the right way and beat up on the seattle seagulls and the miami tuna’s

The jets CAN make the playoffs even if they lose to miami. If they beat seattle and baltimore loses their last 2 against dallas on saturday and the jags next weekend and if new england loses to buffalo the jets would get the wildcard. That being said it is not as important to win the seattle game as it is the dolphins game , but if they do win it keeps more options open for the last game of the season

that is not correct

if we beat SEA and lose to MIA we are 10-6. MIA would win the division. we could get the 6th WC spot if both the pats and ravens lose out. even if indy loses out they would have the 5th WC due to conference record.

i understand technically, our season might not hinge on the SEA game. but realistically, you have to assume NE wins out and MIA wins next week. if we lose the SEA game, i believe we are eliminated under that scenario. the pats would win the division at 11-5 and we would be tied with the dolphins at 10-6. we would be dead – they have the 3rd tie breaker (common games) over the Jets.
