It’s generally accepted that Steve Gutman spent 25 years contributing absolutely nothing to the J E T S attaining any kind of success. This Tannenbaum is nothing more than a shill. Contribution wise, he hired Mangini, and then dumped him, without so much as a word, when Woody said so. The Tannenbaum must be eliminated from this football organization. I’m sure he could find a nice position shilling with Gutman, who runs a wretched shilling firm in Manhattan. They can rename it Two Shills from the Bronx. Keep the Tannenbaum and you’re destined to remain bottom feeders. Count on it.

My Bad your absolutely correct Billick should be on this list behind “The Golden Chin”.

As for Fossel – I know he is a tool! I don’t like the guy, however he did take the Giants to the post season many times and also took them to the Superbowl in 2000 as the Head Coach. I think he should be considered for a look.

Woody Johnson just ended any hopes the Jets had at winning a Superbowl before 2020.

A team will never win with a money first owner.

Mangini should’ve stayed, Callahan upgraded to OC and we should have taken Rob Ryan from Oakland in the offeason to helm our defense.

This is the most ridiculous decision I have ever seen the Jets make.

They fire a young head coach with a great amount of potential, yet welcome back a 40 year old quaterback who just turn the ball over 30 times in one season.

I wish Mangini all the luck in the world, and I hope that he beats the Jets next year

Favre has cost Mangini his job! Chan Pennington would have won 12 games with this Jets Team and with this coach.

This Favre move was the owners move to sell seat licensing frees… nothing more.

I hope Favre retires because this owner Johnson is NUTS wanting Favre back!

nik – u can have your fun anyway u want it but no fan should root against a team just because they made a bad move ..eventually u have to just hope for the best no matter what the outcome eventually is

any urban meyer fans ..i’m not a real big college to pro’s guy as far as coaches go (or vice versa) but theres gotta be some nice prospects out there somewhere that weren’t snatched up last year in that coaches culling

Bent….I can read between the lines, and I know that there were others too, who I guess for good reasons did not want to express their opinion.
On the other hand, I am not bothered by your cheap shot that I was rooting against the Jets. Those who have read my posts know very well what I was rooting for and against; and while it was your choice to have fun, as Favre did, and root for this parody, it was also my choice to have fun by rooting against it.
