I can’t be sure if this is one of two things … 1) An imitation of Brett Favre in a Jets QBs meeting or 2) What I feel like pretty much after each season.
Thanks to Jeremy S. and his cousin’s kids.

Bassett:
Read a letter written by a father to his sons. Though it would go perfect with the video:

For starters Happy New Year everyone, I’m looking forward to a new 2009 season… What I’m not looking forward to is what’s to come with this whole situation concerning the Jets. Brett Favre is basically in the way of making any moves and with the Jets dumping Pennington, if Favre leaves New York is screwed. But most of the blame lands on Woody Johnson more than Eric Mangini or Mike Tannenbaum… Johnson wanted what he could get his hands for New York so he told Tannenbaum a basic get Favre or get out… Time for the owner to give up the team? I think so.

well…..if favre stays were even MORE screwed so….

Where is all this complaining coming from out of the jets. Favre cries because manigini calls him out!!!!!
So What???? my high school coaches call us out and we dont wine suck it up brett go back to Mississippi you were awful i’m glad TJ spoke out the way he did interceptions kill this team let Clemens/Ratliff battle it out Clemens showed potential people loved this guy coming out of the draft.

Brett MUST GO NOW!!!!
losing is one thing, but I will not tolerate internal problems in this organization! And we all know who you are “anonymous jets player”. I’m just not gonna say who to avoid more problems.
And to T. Jones: There is such a thing as being too honest. -
This just shows why the Jets nation is a lost cause. They have no clue about anything. Who is a better option than Favre? He’s not saying anything bad about the team, so I don’t know where you guys got that from. Thomas Jones said Favre’s not helping the team while playing even though he’s not doing well, and you guys agreed with him. Name another ****ING time a player took himself out of a game because he wasn’t playing well. Jesus.

no one is saying for favre to take himself out of a game, thats where the coaching was at fault

And this from a FOX sports article from another GM:
“I want (Favre) out of the building before I get there,” one general manager told The Daily News in analyzing the thought process of prospective coaches. “He’s finished. You can read Mangini’s body language: ‘We can’t control him. He will not follow. He’s undisciplined. Belligerent.’
“Why would any reasonable man even want him around if you are trying to get a fresh start?”

first and foremost happy new years to you and fellow jet fans….second of all…..basset, how about a post on how thomas jones and a couple other jet players airing out frustration, saying that favre should have been benched for his poor performance and how he was always distant from the team, not being a good locker room presence (just saw it on espn this morning and on espn.com)……. probably better blogging material, lol.
