    NO Revis, or Mangold

mawae as the 1st team center? is that a joke?

big jinx chewed him up and spit him out.

i don’t think revis merits being on the list, but he certainly is more deserving than champ bailey who couldn’t run the field with 250 pound antonio gates in week 16.

They should trade Leon…he deserves better than this. (sigh)

I agree, Revis should not be on the all-pro team. He had flashes of greatness but was only consistently good. All-pro’s are consistently great. I think an argument can be made for Mangold but certain positions, especially the less glamorized ones, often have repeaters like Mawae. If the Jets made the playoffs, I am sure more people would have remembered, Mangold is a great consistent center.

Sorry for not making this clearer, but my reference to Champ is due to the fact that he got a vote from some idiot. Not that he made it, because he didn’t. Just that Revis deserved a vote more than Champ.

Mawae is still a great center and imo should be a hall of famer, but I agree Mangold deserved it more. I also agree that Revis deserved a vote more than Champ but not more than Nnamdi. One name I’d like to add is Tony Richardson, he did a great job blocking for TJ this year and also should be a hall of famer imo

…and LeRon McClain is not really used as a fullback

at least noone agrees with pete king on his “no jets in pro bowl”-oppinion

  12. avatar Jeff says:

Peter King is a Giants lover/ Loves to bash us on a constant basis, what a douche

Darrelle Revis clearly deserved to make atleast one of the two all-pro teams. He locked down receivers every week and finished the season with 5 picks. He is on the same level as Charles Woodson and Antoine Winfield, Cortland Finnegan and Nnamdi, but Revis is only in his second year, and played on a non play-off team. His name will start to ring out, and he’ll be an all-pro for years to come.
