Link Ben Graham Settling in Arizona
Ben Graham had a rough start of the season. After getting fired by the Jets, re-hired, then fired again, he went to London with New Orleans, but then ended up in Arizona where he’s been a part of the team’s success.
In five games with the Cardinals, including last weekend’s 30-24 playoff victory over the Falcons, the former Australian Rules Football player has punted 26 times for a 42-yard net average and has had 11 punts downed inside the opponents’ 20-yard line.
He did that four times against the Falcons, pinning Atlanta back inside its own 10-yard line on three occasions. Graham’s punting and the special teams’ coverage was a big factor in the victory.
Although he was having some issues earlier this season with the Jets, I’ve always liked the guy and it’s good to see that he’s recovered well and found a good spot with another club.

O’Dea was the kickers guru, failed to take over ST, and did not do well with Graham. The guy had an all star career in Aussie football, retires, lands a job at above market price for 3 1/2 seasons with the Jets, like Mangini he lands on his feet in the desert. I like Graham because of his size, I like a punter that has the “potential” to tackle, I also thought he could run the ball in a fake punt. His supposedly weird spin that he could put on a ball never generated any turnovers. Wish him well.
Not to mention that Reggie Hodges is GOD AWFUL!!!!
