News: DL Coach Dan Quinn Heads to Seattle
Posted on January 11th, 2009 by Bassett
Danny O’Neill is reporting on his blog for the Seattle Times that the Seahawks have reached agreement with Jets Defensive Line Coach Dan Quinn to become a Defensive Line / Assistant Head Coach. The AHC title means that it’s a stepup for Quinn, and meaning he can opt out of his current deal.
Quinn was with the Jets for two seasons and did a quality job. Having better talent in his second year helped him to raise his profile, and thus the promotion with the Seahawks.

I am not going to fault the Jets, when a guy gets a big promotion, in the case of Quinn or Dabol. The key guy is Callahan, they lose him then they are just incompetent.
