Who’s In the Running Where?

Just a quick reminder of who’s interested in the three top coaching candidates for the Jets likely to be the next head coach:

Rex Ryan: Jets, Rams

Brian Schottenheimer: Jets

Steve Spagnuolo: Chiefs, Jets, Lions,

(Only reported interviews were taken into account)

  1. Here’s my list of jet coaches:

    Rex Ryan: Nice!!

    Brian Schotenhimer: Go to Hell!!

Steve Spagnuolo: Eh…Rather have Rex but not bad

  2. Here’s my choices for head coach 1) REX 2) RYAN 3)REX RYAN Any other HC would cause more headaches than help..SCHOTTY stays in ny and REX has agreed to keep him so this is so obvious even WOODY AND MIKE T. cant screw this up OH YEAH wait a minute MAYBE THEY CAN….LMAO

  3. i need to be in control of this team!

  4. “He is the son of former Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals head coach Buddy Ryan and is the twin brother of Rob Ryan, defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns. He may now be coaching for the worst franchise in the NFL, The New York Jets. Family members of the Ryan family have pleaded with Rex not to take the Head Coaching position for the New York Jets and disgrace his family. If Rex Ryan does accept the job, he can look forward to getting pummeled twice a year by the newly crowned AFC EAST CHAMPION MIAMI DOLPHINS,as the MIAMI DOLPHINS led by Bill Parcells and Tony Sparano will rule the AFC EAST with an iron fist for the next decade.”

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Ryan

Of course this was edited out minutes later (my brother saw it at around 3:00 PM today)

But sheesh, dolphins fans getting COCKY already? They won one division title and lost immediately afterwards!

  5. I would bet my life savings that the Dolphins don’t repeat as AFC East champs.

They’re going to regress like the Jets did from Mangini’s first year to his second year.

  6. Dolphin fans…..amazing

Lets see Chad and the Wildcat pull that magic trick again….

Lets not forget Dolphin fans…Ryan’s dad was on the 1969 SB jets staff. Full cirle baby. Get me REX!!!!!!

  7. I agree with that Dolphins fan. If Rex Ryan takes the Jets job he will look forward to playing the Dolphins twice a year. The wildcat looked pretty lame against his schemes.

  8. The Chiefs can have Spags,

I think Ryan already made up his mind b/w the Jets and Rams

Look at the positives with the Jets
we went 9-7 and we are already in the 3-4

If he goes to the Rams, 1 you have to deal with a bad team and you have to convert them to a 3-4, which I say is the hardest thing to do for a coach, and when I see the Rams play, they seem like they are so unmotivated, like they only come for the check, ( that’s just me)

The only problem is, are the Jets set on Ryan or are they really stupid enough to make Schottenheimer coach

But I think the Jets will make the right choice, and make Bob Sutton our Head coach ( small joke)

  9. Do not forget the Rams ownership still may decide to sell the team which would create alot of uncertainty with that franchise. The Fins will be lucky to get 7-8 wins next year, this year was an aberration.

  10. Jacobs and Ward contracts expire this offseason, and they can’t afford to keep both guys, they will most likely pick Jacobs.

What do yuo guys think of getting Ward?

I know he’s not a need and we can’t waste our little bit of Cap room on a guy we don’t need, but think about it, TJ is getting any younger, and him and LW would go great together as a 1 2 punch

  11. Rudibager, That was the best joke i heard so far this offseason…The JETs with REX RYAN beat MIAMI both times next season, RUDI did ya miss the Baltimore vs Miami game lol MIAMI is a joke they caught a few teams sleeping with the WILD CAT inwhich was immediately shut down by the RAVENS D…RUDIBAGER while your still dream’m CHAD will throw for 4,000 yards and 40tds and DETRIOT will win the superbowl next year…BUZZZZ Wake up your alarm clock just went off…..

  12. Ganggreen, I think you should read Rudibager’s post again. Your responding to a joke a dolphins fan put up on wikipedia. Rudibager was just passing it along.

  13. My bad apology to RUDI Just cant stand when I hear about Miami the one year wonder team…

  14. Hahaha….dolphins fans are funny…..I live in miami and they have to be the most unloyal fans in pro football……they had the highest attendance record for a playoff game in their history and there was still tons of empty seats. The dolphins are a joke and they get maybe 6 wins next year.

  15. Jets:

    - HC Rex Ryan
    - OC Brian Schottenheimer

    Chiefs:

    - HC Steve Spagnuolo

    Lions:

    - HC Herm Edwards – 0-16 Again HaHaHa!

  16. My choices:

    1. Rex Ryan HC – Brian SHott OC

    2. Rex Ryan HC – Brian SHott OC

    3. Rex Ryan HC – Brian SHott OC

ONLY Coach to get Jets to its next Super Bowl… Rex Ryan

  17. nice work on pointing out that schotty is not wanted anywhere else yet is somehow in the mix for our HC spot

  18. also i hope herm does get the boot from KC and is unemployed – cant wait to enjoy his soundbytes on coors light commercials next year

  19. why do we have to keep schotty?

  20. Nyckage,

Getting ward would be the worst thing the jets could do and would be tanni’s first class ticket to unemployment.
And what in the hell is so special about ward.

I think ward just benefoted from a good running O-line( like any back would) and does nuthing special in my eyes. So why spend money on that?

I don’t know about him being a compliment to leoj, they both have similar running styles(leon is better) and isn’t really a brusing back.

We are much better off drafting beanie or moreno….both are better and younger than ward, besides the fact they’ll be cheaper as rookies.

  21. I agree ridinmywave, that Ward benefitted from a strong O-Line like any back would, and I can name a certain one that led the AFC in rushing and will not be that good next year. I would sell high if we can and bring in a short yardage guy to split with Leon and hopefully save money in the process. That’s just me, I’m not a huge TJ guy myself.

  22. Is it just me or does Ryan remind anyone of Parcells? I’m not sure why the press hasn’t annointed Ryan yet, wouldn’t we all be writting about the Spags press conference by now if Ryan weren’t the guy? Why would Woodenbaum wait all week while assistants get snapped up? Also everyone needs to realize the deal with Schotts, he never had a chance to be HC, the Jets are pumping him up because they like his potential and want to keep him happy and in the fold. You may question why but I think its clear that Mangini and Schotts had a falling out over the playcalling and Favre. Obviously the club feels he brings more to the table than Mangini allowed to materialize on the field. Its the only answer as his numbers don’t justify the way he is being treated by the organization. Mangini – Schotts were not on the same page and Woodenbaum sided with Schotts. The FO met freqently with the players down the stretch, which I heard Cotch discuss in a wfan interview.

  23. Razor,

I wasn’t a big tj guy myself. I was actually one of those guys screamin for mcfadden in the draft. But you kno what? Tj has won me over with his dedication and he puts his heart out on the field. Tj DID benefit from a good o-line this year, but he put work in. He didn’t benefit from an o line last year (one of the worst in the league) and still rushed for over 1,000 yards. And the whole 1td thing was due more to playcalling.

He has a been a consistent 1000 yd back for a good amount of years. He also broke a couple jet records with that good o line as well, ward hasn’t proved a damn thing besides trying to be fools gold.(He was on the jet practice squad a couple years back)

So I would think its safe to say that the two shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence, and further more that ward couldn’t fill jones shoes. But ofcourse looking into the future, tj doesn’t have that much time left, and I can assure you ward is NOT a solution by any means and you can find a better back through cheaper and easier means.

Ward had a nice year, but not great, and still is a good second option, I’m not sure of him as an every down back.

  24. If the JETS loved anyone other than REX they would have pulled the trigger by now its wednesday and no other interviews are scheduled, its over Rex Wins. First thing tell Farve thanks but no thanks. maybe we can hire herm edwards as the ball boy/ motivational speeker. sorry bad joke.

  25. Steven Jackson and Marion Barber are also free agents this offseason…Sproles is also a free agent but we already have Washington…Bennie Wells,Javon Ringer,Keagan Herring,James Davis are projected top 10 draftees

  26. The odds on JETS next HC:

    1 to 100 Rex Ryan
    10 to 1 Spags
    1 million to 1 Schott

Place your bets in Vegas but the smart money is on REX.

  27. Wells is in the top 10? I though he wasn’t even the highest ranked RB, second to moreno? Last time I checked he was a late first rounder, hoping that we could get him.

  28. We need Rex Ryan as head coach. Get rid of Schotty! You want consistency on offense? Fine. Hire Bill Callahan as offensive coordinator.

How about having a dominating defense and running game? How about running the ball down the throat of the opposing team 20+ times in a row and they still can’t stop it? Remember that? It happened to us against Bill Callahan’s Raiders. With Bill Callahan as OC, this time WE get to be the team with the running game that can’t be stopped even when they know it’s coming!

Rex Ryan for head coach and Bill Callahan for offensive coordinator! But… I still think that Rex Ryan should get to make the decision on who HE wants on his staff. Not me. Not us. And not Tannenbaum. If you hire someone as head coach, you must let him pick his own people. Don’t saddle him with Schotty! Or anyone else. Go Jets in 2009!

  29. Ridinmywave sorry for the confusion in my post they are rated in the top 10 for running backs coming out not top 10 1st round selections in the draft

  30. I think its just added headache and frustration in the continuing second guessing on who’s gonna be hired, I think its been obvious in who’s gonna get the job for a while now.

So only thing left to talk about are possible defensive coaches and coordinators that are gonna be brought in by ryan and his percpeption on the offensive scheming and where schott fits in with him.

  31. Gotchia gang, who would you want us to pick up in the first rd? I had crabtree as far as wishing on a star, and then moreno, wells, or spikes.

  32. you guys are all crazy thinking you know more than people on the inside. you think mr t. is that idiotic that he just wants to hire B Schott for the heck of it? B Schott is a smart and charismatic guy that was held back by mangini. it’s basically what took mangini down, that he was too hands on. all the while everyone was b*tching at B Schott and Sutton, their anger should have been directed at Mangini bc he was ruling with an iron fist and killing everyone’s passion and creativity.

  33. I’m still pretty high on DRE KIRKPATRICK cb/wr/safety RIDIN do a google search on him and tell me whatcha think been looking for more input than just my own…this kid has crazy upside and versitality…AND he not another BRAD SMITH…Many scouts have predicted him to be a better talent than Deion Sanders…need more oppions TJB bloggers as we are known to give our honest oppions daily LOL

  34. Kirkpatrick’s game has very few discernible physical or fundamental flaws. His natural athleticism and coverage skills are excellent and extremely rare for a defensive back with his large frame. He has great height and a long, rangy body that should fill out nicely while allowing him to maintain his current speed and quickness. Has a smooth pedal and transitions extremely quickly in and out when turning and running or closing on the ball. Has great footwork and quickness. Shows very flexible hips and smooth turns for his size. Well-versed and excels in a variety of coverages. Can mirror without allowing separation in man-to-man, shadowing receivers out of their breaks. Can ride a receiver’s hip on vertical routes while demonstrating proper hand placement and soundly playing the ball. Uses his long arms to effectively jam and slow receivers off the line in press coverage, and flashes great recovery speed. Has excellent physical skills and a strong understanding of zone concepts. Covers a lot of ground, expertly reads quarterbacks, matches patterns, innately anticipates throws and flashes great burst to undercut and jump routes. Excels at using his long frame and athleticism to separate the ball from the receiver. Tracks the deep throw well, showing a second gear to break under the ball. Has outstanding hands and ball skills. Shows good closing speed and aggressiveness in run support, and isn’t just a finesse cover corner. Diagnoses the run quickly, fills hard and makes strong, reliable open-field tackles. Chases and strings out plays to the sideline while effectively using his size and deceptive strength to fight off the stalk block and get over trash. Could be more consistent in using proper bend and sink in his pedal to assist his transitional quickness and plant-and-drive skills, but his natural fluidity is exceptional for his size. Kirkpatrick offers safety size and physicality with excellent cover corner skills. He should be an immediate impact player with exciting scheme versatility at the next level. THIS IS A 2009 SCOUTING REPORT for DRE KIRKPATRICK

  35. Gangreen, well since he’s a tweener (more than one position), he may be a 2nd to late rounder, sounds enticing. Definately an uprgade from elam, lol. And can help on special teams and we can rid ourselves of james ihedigbo(our supposed future at safety). But ill definately look into that after work. Is he on youtube whatsoever?

  36. my choice ; Leslie Fraizer HC

  37. Round 1 Rey maluaga
Round 2 Hakeem nicks wr unc this guy is the truth better then kenny britt and not a prima donna

  38. ridin again my apologizes i cant believe this was a college scouting report this kid is coming out of high school damn i should’ve researched a little further…Looks like its going to be a few years lol again my appologies for wasting time and space on the blog…

  39. Lol, its cool, aint nuthin wrong with wishful thinking

  40. B.T.W!!!…….people

I’m hearing T.O is about to get released……..not wishing on his arrival, would rather plaxico or chad johnson over him anyway……but I’m just saying, lol

  41. GANGREEN,

The Scouts say your boy, Dre Kirkpatrick, has the body of a Saftey, but can backpeddle, switch hips with the speed od a cover corner… only he needs to toughen up against big, physical wide receivers at the line of scrimage.

Only his not draft illegibile, so the real question is, why are we talking about him?

We should be talking about this year’s 1st & 2nd round corners:

    Rank / Name / School

    2 Malcolm Jenkins Ohio State
    16 DJ Moore Vanderbilt
    25 Alphonso Smith Wake Forest
    26 Vontae Davis Illinois
    31 Mike Mickens Cincinnati
    38 Victor Harris Virginia Tech
    53 Darius Butler Connecticut

  42. Seeing how the Jets have a propensity for taking Ohio State players in the 1st Round, it will probably be Jenkins or James Laurinaitis… lol

  43. If Shotty is ANY part of this team I am done. Honestly this all just makes me sick.

  44. The team that drafts Beenie Wells will be sorry. I am a Jets/Buckeyes fan, and he is soft. Jenkins is the real deal and Laurenitis will be a average player. Rex Ryan will draft CB #1, LB #2, and WR #3. He will move Gholsten to DE , Jenkins NT and haun Ellis DE, Pace OLB, Harris and Rookie MLB, Bran Thomas OLB, Revis and Lowery CB, Rhodes and Rookie and Safeties. Speed, Speed and more speed mixed with Ryans schemes will cause lots of mis-matches for teams.

  45. Beenie Wells = Blair Thomas!!!!! The best running back coming out is the kid from Pittsburgh….Curtis Martin Like!!

  46. Jetsetter,

gholston is too small to be a DE in a 3-4 setting

And I’m really high on wells, I like his style, real bruising and physical guy(viscious stiff arm) and has great speed out the box. But I definately wouldn’t mind moreno, probably the most prolific back in the draft.

  47. 2009 Draft Wish List:

    1st Round / 17th Pick:

    FS Taylor Mays USC
    ILB James Laurinaitis Ohio State
    ILB Rey Maualuga USC
    CB DJ Moore Vanderbilt
    RB Chris Wells Ohio State

Top of the Second Round (Trade Up):

    RB Knowshon Moreno Georgia
    CB Alphonso Smith Wake Forest
    CB Vontae Davis Illinois
    CB Mike Mickens Cincinnati
    CB Victor Harris Virginia Tech

    53rd Pick, Second Round:

    CB Darius Butler Connecticut
    SS Patrick Chung Oregon
    ILB Darry Beckwith LSU
    WR Kenny Britt Rutgers

    76th Pick, Third Round:

    WR Louis Murphy Florida
    SS Nic Harris Oklahoma
    OG Kraig Urbik Wisconsin

    111th Pick, Fouth Round

    WR Darrius Passmore Marshall
TE Ryan Purvis Boston College (Value Pick)

  48. Gholsten played end in College, he is about the same size as Tuck. 6′5/265. Did you see Wells take himself out of the bowl game. He is a Bitch, trust me! He has no pain tolerance, write it down…a BUST!

  49. Well been searching for some 1st round talent and i came up with players i still think will be availible at #17 here we go WR JEREMY MACLIN 6′1 199pds 4.33(40),DE EVERETT BROWN(FL ST.) 6′4 250pd 4.60(40) 21 tackle for loss 13.5 sacks 4 forced fumbles,CB VONTAE DAVIS (ILLINOIS) 6′0 200pds 4.39(40),and ILB REY MAUALUGA(USC) 6′3 260 4.68(40)….

  50. Sorry 6′3……

  51. Kevino,

Nothing funny about it – I’d kill to get either Buckeye!

Jenkins is predicted as Top-5 pick, but I can see Jets trading up a couple spots to land Laurinaitis. Also, I’m Gholston will come around.

    Dean

  52. Its funny how no one is mentioning our QB situation…..RB is not even close to a concern right now……..we need to find away to get rid of Coles and Gholston while they still have some value

  53. LV24,

Our qb situation is what it is……what do you expect?…. For us to draft another young qb to develope so things can be even more complicated? Give the guys a chance for once, at least ratliff, the guy has given no reason to doubt his ability.

I understand wanting to trade coles ….but gholston? While he still has value?? I don’t kno what games you were watching but I didn’t even know he got a chance to prove his worth? Patience is a virtue my friend, and the rb position is a concern, thomas is on his last laps and leon is not an every down back.

  54. LV24 If Rex comes and Schotty stays Clemens or Ratiff get the start(ITS now or never for CLEMENS),Rex will keep GHOLSTON he’s not going anywhere for several years,L.COLES we should have never guarenteed his money this upcoming year he needs to get outta town,Cant see wasting draft picks to move way up to get Bradford so thats out and getting a free agent quarterback besides K.Collins who worth the risk over what we already have….I foresee the first couple of rounds being dedicated to REX getting the players he needs to make this defense better fit his scheme WOODY’s looking to sell PSL’s and a REX RYAN DEFENSE can do that…

  55. Gholsten will be fine, Demarcus Ware and Mario Williams were considered busts after their rookie years. Dont Panic…..I honestly believe brett Ratliff will be a efficient QB, enough to win games in this league, like Flacco and Rothlisberger! 6′4 235 lbs. Big and Strong with a solid “D” will equal wins.

  56. LV24,

No one’s talking about drafting a QB, because we have Kellen Clemens. He was steal in ‘06, slipping into the second round only due to an injury his senior year. Prior to that he was Top-5 passing yards – delivering downfield with accuracy. He’s been carrying a clipboard since, because Jets had no offensive line or running back last year. Christ – we went through three quarterbacks!

Favre’s arrival cost him another season and most of Schottenheimer’s playbook. It’s time to cash in on the combination of Clemens, Schottenheimer and a West Coast (ball control) offense… playing behind a rebuilt offensive line and improved running game.

We don’t need to get rid of Coles (or Cotchery). They are our possession receivers. We just need to add a speed demon through the draft and see what David Clowney is made of. I’d like a tall guy in the red zone too, so hopefully 6-4 will develop.

Finally, get off Gholston. We don’t even know what we have here. He sat out while his contract was negotiated, then had to learn a new position (from DE to 3-4 OLB)… as well as adjust to the NFL. Same thing happened to DeMarcus Ware. Mangini had Lawrence Taylor look at him and LT says the kid is smart and coming along. Next year – Big strides!

I only see jets selecting a runningback if it is a value pick and prognosticators have Beanie Wells falling to 17 and Knowshon Marino falling to the second round.

Personally, I want the Jets to use 1st and 2nd rounds to fill our weakest positions: ILB and CB or SS.

    Dean

  57. Whoops! I meant, “I’d like a tall guy in the red zone too, so hopefully 6-4 [Marcus Henry] will develop.

  58. Gangreen,

Bradford is going back to school, but I wasn’t too high on the kid anyway…..not so much to overlook what ratliff is capable of.

  59. And to kinda fan the fire on brett ratliff, besides his big arm and accuracy, people forget about his decpetive speed if you check his scouting report, great feet in the pocket and great scrambling skills.

  60. So really there is no QB in the draft worth the money cause Tebow and Bradford are both staying in college..I cant fathom the just using a 1st or 2nd rounder on a running back with 5 RB’s on our roster unless REX is onboard with that move…I also see a CB/LB/DE coming in the first and second rounds with the possibility of a WR or RB coming in the 3rd..

  61. If they can snag taylor mays in the first round and trade up for vontae davis the jets will in a short time have the best secondary in the league

    revis, rhodes, mays, davis…..

my second ideal turnout would be maualuga and then davis and hopefully gholston shows up next year…that would be a great linebacker crew

    pace, maualuga, harris, gholston…

i think a position that may be overlooked sometimes is that other de spot across from ellis if we could draft somebody with a little talent at that spot in the second or third round that would be a great addition…. does anybody know a good DE fit for a 3-4 in this years draft?

and i say 3-4 cause REX got job on lock

  62. DADE COUNTRY JETS FAN-DE EVERETT BROWN(FL ST.) 6′4 250pd 4.60(40) 21 tackle for loss 13.5 sacks 4 forced fumbles…. dont know if he will drop to the second round though it would be nice…..

  63. dade county jets fan,

I couldn’t agree more! We should grab any Top-15 ILB, S, CB who falls to us and trade up to add the remaining defensive piece.

    ILB (James Laurinaitis, Rey Maualuga)

    CB (Malcolm Jenkins, DJ Moore)

    S (Taylor Mays)

We can draft a fast wide receiver in the 3rd round and continue to develop David Clowney.

  64. The DE opposite Ellis is a good question, because kenyon coleman aint cuttin nuthin but cheese, maybe we can snag somebody via draft(not sure who) or put mosley over there, he hasn’t done too shabby. We’ll see what rex thinks.

  65. Gangreen,

I’m glad Tim Tebow decided to stay in school. He’s delaying the inevitable Heisman Trophy Winner / NFL QB Bust.

He’s less Tim Ryan, Joe Flacco and more Chris Weinke, Eric Crouch… and not athletic enough to convert to wide receiver ala Brad Smith.

  66. I admit. I wasn’t happy to hear Mangini was fired. I believe he’s good coach. He was so close to grabbing Rob Ryan from Al Davis’ wrinkled claws and the late arrival of Favre’s million dollar arm handcuffed Schottz playcalling.

Yet, imagine this year’s combination of Rex Ryan coaching up our defense with Schottenheimer returning to form behind a QB that’s been with the Jets long enough to knows his system and young and capabile enough to deliver the ball (even in December).

Kudos to Callahan, Woody and Faneca for turning the O-line around. Plus, T. Richardson who is the bulldozer that makes our running game go!

Kellen will have protection, running game and new weapons like Dustin Keller and Wide-Receiver-Yet-To-Be-Drafted… as well as a defense to get him more opportunities and better field position. Gholston will surface and David Haris and Darrelle Revis will get some new partners in crime! Kris Jenkins is the kingpin… maybe we can use some of Favre’s money to upgrade Sione Pouha as his back up. The big man needs a breather!

Special Teams Coach, Mike Westhoff, is the man. Washington is an All-Pro KR and Wallace Wright is everywhere!

    2009 is a perfect storm!

  67. Sam Bradford is staying at OU,while Mark Sanchez is declaring. He looks better than Matt Leinart and he had no Dwayne Jarrett or Reggie Bush bailing him out. As for Derrick Ward,no thanks. I think Knowshon Moreno will end up being the Jets pick when its all said and done. Rex Ryan is the next coach of the Jets regardless of the Pitt/Baltimore outcome.

  68. CRIMSON-SE7EN,

Sanchez in. Bradford out. Doesn’t matter, because Stafford goes to the Lions and Jets don’t need a new QB.

We’re all set with Clemens [See Posts Above].

Besides, I know the NFL is a copycat league with teams looking to draft next Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco, but this draft only has one franchise quarterback and he’ll be snapped up with the first pick.

I agree, Tannenbaum wants to sign Sexy Rexy. He’s only keeping Schottzy in the conversation in case another team steals him away.

I also agree, Knowshon Moreno could tumble into the second round making his value too tempting for Jets not to trade up!

    Dean

  69. Just read another interview article with Rex Ryan stating that if he is hired he will bring in MIKE PETTINE LB coach of the Ravens as the DEFENSIVE COORIDNATOR for the JETS next season…THAT means SUTTON is the odd man out so far….The more I read the more confident I get that REX is the man….CAN’t wait to see what other offseason moves REX makes to make this team a BEAST in the AFC EAST…..

  70. Here’s a link that mentions the rumor about Pettine being Rex’s preferred choice as his DC:

    http://blogs.phillyburbs.com/news/bcct/mike-pettine-jr-to-the-jets/

GANGGREEN: I did try to tell you about your guy Dre Kirkpatrick. Here’s what I posted 9 days ago!

“Gang green – I assume you are joking about Dre Kirkpatrick. He is a fantastic prospect with size and speed and could indeed one day be a first round pick. Probably just as a corner though.

Of course, he’s a high school senior and therefore won’t be eligible for the NFL draft until 2012, but I am pretty sure you knew that?!?!”

  71. Lol thanks Bent No i got caught up in the report of Kirkpatrick never realizing he was a high school kid.I misread the report from the Florida college thnking he was coming out to the NFL when it was actual a scouting report for their school….

  72. With the Rams ownership in limbo, Rex would be nuts to go there. The JETS are the perfect place for him. We already have the 3-4 in place, all he needs to do is tinker with some of the players and positions. The Offense is in good shape, all he needs is an innovative coordinator (NOT SCHOTT) to take the Offense to the next level. So I will be the first to welcome REX to the JETS!!

  73. Spags has an interview with the Rams…
