Excellent recap and discussion/ interview with Jane who has continued to impress as a rookie on the Jets beat.
Obviously not a lot of new revelations here but it was good to get a feel for the players and the locker room after specific games, such as the KC game in which they barely won and probably should have lost due to the turnovers. Guarantee that’s a loss and the beginning of the end of the season as opposed to the spark of a 5 win streak if it were played in KC.
I know her opinion on the Jets biggest need at corner is a popular one, however my feeling is that we need another more versatile MLB to add to the LB corps which is more needed for a successful 3-4.
If we can lure Bart Scott or even Ray Lewis away with Rex from Baltimore, I think our wildest dreams would come true.
I like Jane, because she’s kind of out of the regular beat loop.
She doesn’t always repeat the same storylines, the rest of the beat collective spews.
