Yeah Jay, we wouldn’t have wanted the bums (Clemens/Ratliff) throwing 9 picks in the last 5 games, costing us the division and a shot at a winnable super bowl.

Peppers is awesome but, he is just pumping up the bucks. He can’t expect to have more than 14 sacks, on another team. Just a ploy.
Why take Gruden, when he had a mediocre run with Tampa? Lock up Ryan, as soon as possible.
If Callahan had nothing to do with the collapse, he would be a good fallback. We would have continuity, a solid Offensive coach, with familiarity of our players. Only Tannenbaum knows how much Callahan contributed to our underachieving offensive performance.

You know his speech was a joke when my wife uses it in a joke 3 weeks later.
Peppers is a freak as a 4-3 DE. He’s a bigger version of J Abraham. He will not fit this teams defense or salary cap.
Agreed on Gruden. His teams have collapse the last few years. Get Ryan and his nasty defensive mentality in here and lets build a damn winner already.

Question??? If the N.F.L. says it just wants too get the calls on the field rite, then why are there so many restrictions on when you can challemge a play??? Is it me, or is the officiating getting worse, and worse??? FRIGGIN’ PATHETIC!!!!

I think I speak for just about eveyone when I say…………..LET’S GO STEELERS!!!! If Baltimore wins today, we’ll be waiting for 3 more weeks , until we can sign Rex!!! NO THANKS!!!

largebarge i completely agree, i dont remember a worse year for officiating. but about peppers why cant he be a 3-4 outside linebacker? nfl.com lists him as 6-7 283. thats bigger than any outside lb we have he probably could lose weight and it would still work.

True & Funny thing just happened…..NFL Network was showing the Raven-Steeler rivalry preview and they kept showing Ray Lewis firing up the troops before each game….My wife (who knows zero about football other than I’m a diehard jet fan) says, that Ray Lewis guy is crazy but sounds like he gets his players really fired up…sounds alot like the “pre-game speech” Bret Favre gave before the Miami loss….as she laughs and walks out of the room….Even my wife is mocking Favre….hilarious
