Somedays Erik Boland Loves His Job More Than Others
… or so I imagine.
One of the most amusing football beaties, Erik Boland of Newsday noted on his blog that he ” … did a brief Q & A with [TV Azteca's Ines] Sainz because, well, she’s kind of hot.” Ms. Sainz had been interviewing players and measuring their bicep sizes on Tuesday’s Super Bowl Media Day.
Umm … Ines who?
Sainz was the only reporter that TO wanted to talk with after practice one day while dealing with an injured ankle during the Cowboys playoff run last season and according to Wikipedia, Ms. Sainz was a former Miss Spain who competed in the 1997 Miss Universe contest … that’s right, Miss Spain. Apparently she’s taken her skills to TV in Mexico and Media Day is one of the few days a year she enters the sports blogosphere’s conciousness.
So what exactly does this Ms. Sainz look like?
You are a bold man, Mr. Boland … but we guess that interviewing hulking men in towels has supressed any jitters you might have otherwise felt. Media Day is such a zoo, we’re glad that you have your priorities aligned!
