The First 100 Days: Day 26

Just like another administration’s first 100 days, so too TJB will be keeping watch over the Rex Ryan administration for the first 100 days … playing it by the numbers if you will. Each day, we’ll try to keep the associated day number in play.
Day Twenty Six
Last Worn By — Erik Coleman (pictured), who has since found a home in Atlanta.
Brief Spells — Nobody that has worn 26 for the Jets has stuck around for longer than three seasons. Chad Morton, Donald Dykes and Lester Lyles were some of the more memorable.
Oh, That’s Not Him? — The first Jet ever to wear the number 26 was David West, who has since gone on to be an NBA all-star with the New Orleans Hornets.
And With the 26th Pick… — The Jets decided to trade down and pick up Doug Jolley in 2005. Not Terry Bradway’s finest moment.

Hey at least they got Mike Nugent and Justin Miller when they traded down(not funny). Guys we passed up by trading down Aaron Rodgers, Roddy White, Lofa Tatupa, Heath Miller
The Jets had David West?
I thought Erik Coleman really had a chance to be special. I can’t say I paid attention to his season in Atlanta this year, but hope things work out well for him.
