The gang at PFT has reported where the contract talks left off for the Ravens two ILBs before midnight
… the Ravens have offered Lewis a three-year, $24 million contract with $17 million guaranteed. Scott’s offer has an annual average of $7 million, and more years.
D. Rose reported those similar numbers earlier today for Lewis and I had said the other day that I thought that it would take about $8 million TCV / year to get Scott to New York, and that seems like it will bear itself out.

Is the general consensus that the offer from Baltimore is enough? Or that it’s NOT enough?

Listen up peoples!!! If you’re an NFL franchise, and you “truly” don’t want too lose your star players too FA, you don’t wait till this point too sign them!!! I will bet anything he wont be a Raven next year!!!

Ravens screwed up – it should never have gotten to this point, if they wanted to keep him. He reads the headlines, and knows there are a number of teams out there with the cap space to give him what he wants.
